First Love

Chapter 1: First Sight

Alarm clock rings. "BEEP-BEEP-BEEP." I threw the alarm clock to the floor and it ended up breaking. Oh well. Ugh, first day of school. I go to the bathroom and brush my teeth when my annoying little brother Austin comes barging in like if it were a rodeo. "Move out of my way." I stopped and pushed his little head. I said demandly," The only person that has to move is you. Now go use mom's bathroom or what ever but now I am using this bathroom so leave." He rolled his eyes and left the bathroom marching. Thank god he left. As i continue brushing my teeth and getting ready, I get a message. "DING!" The phone goes off. I made my way towards the phone and accidently tripped on my new boots."Ouch!" I just get up because i wasn't feeling any extreme pain.

I grabbed my phone and the message was from Jade, my best friend. "Hey, can I go over to your house so we can go to school together?" I texted back,"Sure why not." I put on my black jeans and my favorite mint green shirt. Short in the front, long in the back. I put on some eyeliner,mascara and a light eye shadow. I get my book bag and go downstairs. I pour some coffee and some milk as well."Well you look great sweet heart!" My stepfather Drew says."Thanks dad." I gave him a smile. I call him dad because he has been there for me always. He isn't one of those abusive step dad. He is really nice. He was the only father figure for me. I never met my dad. He never cared about me anyways. Well, as I finish Jade walks in,"What's up people!" She yelled out. I kind of jumped, it scared me. My brother Austin comes down and stares at Jade. Jade stares back. They seem to hate each other and they rolled their eyes at each other."Jade," my brother says."Austin," Jade manages to say without kicking his ass. I stepped in and said,"Why do you guys hate each other so much?"Jade says in an attitude," I dont like brats." Austin seems to get a little mad and yells out,"NOSE PICKER!"All i could do is laugh."Shut up you look like a monkey anyways." Jade says in a nasty attitude.

I grab Jade and dragged outside with me. Before i left i yelled out,"BYE I AM GOING TO SCHOOL." I close the door behind me. As I walk down the street, Jade starts the conversation." Hey you ready to see Amber again?" She says giving a little giggle. Amber is the most popular girl in school but tends to pick on Jade and I the most. I rolled my eyes."I can't stand her! I said in a loud voice,"She thinks she is so perfect." Jade always finds a way to make me laugh."I bet she stuffs paper in her bra." We both laughed. As we arrived at school first thing we see. Amber and her little "squad" getting out of her mercedes. She looks our way and laughs. She walks our way and says,"Hey nerd bombs what you up too?" Her squad laughs.

Jade and I kept on walking trying to avoid problems. Yet they didnt know problems were calling my name. Amber touches my shoulder and I turned back and grabbed her hand and took it off my shoulder. I was getting really pissed off so I squeezed her hand a little bit. She tried to get loose but it back fired her. I looked her straight in the eyes and said,"Whats wrong princess? Got a problem?" I let go of her hand and just walked away. Jade looked at me with a surprised face and said,"damn, girl you need to show me some of those moves!" I giggled and made my anger go away. We make our way to our assigned homeroom and luckily we got homeroom together.

We went inside the classroom and sat beside each other. We look at our teacher. She looks like she is in her 40s or 50s. She had a funny accent so you can tell she wasn't born here. I would say she is from Cuba."Okay class my name is Ms.Gonzlez." She pointed at her name that was written on the board. It looked like it was written by a 1 grader."Everyday you see me for only 10 minutes. During that time you will read a book or do something quietly." She said in a funny accent. It was very hard not to laugh. A kid in the back raised his hand and the teacher pointed at him. He asked,"Why do you talk so funny?" Everyone in class laughed. The teacher exploded and yelled at him,"GO OUTSIDE!" When she exploded it was funnier because she talked louder. Jade bursted out laughing."YOU," she pointed at Jade,"OUT SIDE NOW!" Jade continued to laugh and walked outside. I tried to defend Jade."Miss she didn't do anything!"She got even worse. "You want to be a trouble maker also! Outside!" She yelled at me. As i was walking outside, I saw a cute boy. He stared at me walk by. He was a dream boy, cute, light brown eyes, and his hair was perfect. As I passed by him all i could do is look down because i was blushing so much. He had whistled at me. When i looked into his eyes I felt like i was in another world. I walked outside with Jade and i told her I had a crush on a cute guy from our homeroom. I thought my heart was gonna beat out of my chest. I was in love.
