I woke up and rolled over to check the time.

7 am

It was pretty early, I looked over at the couch. Smurphy was still asleep so I decided to order some breakfast. After I was done ordering I started scrolling through Instagram while I waited.

Ding

Suddenly I had gotten a message.

J: good morning pretty boy ;)

C: good morning! 😊

J: hru today?

C: aww I good hbu!

J: aw ha I'm good :)

Talking to justus always makes me happy. I could feel butterflies in my stomach after every message. My face began to heat up. Me and Justus continued texting back and forth for a few minutes.

C: hey do you wanna FaceTime for a bit? As long as it's not to late for you ofc!

J: aw sure and it's only 2pm so no worries ;)

C: ok!

J: just give me a sec then I'll call you :)

C: alright! :)

I was actually pretty excited to talk with justus!

Ring. ring. ring.

I picked up my phone.

C: hey justus!

J: hey crawford!

We talked for about a hour. Then smurphy woke up.

J: yeah so...

C: oop- give me a sec smurphy just woke up

J: alright!

(Talking to Sarah)

C: morning sunshine

S: (sleepy) heyyy watcha doing

C: oh im on the phone with justus

S: oooh your on the phone with your boyfriend

C: smurphy!

S: ok ok ill stop sorry

Smurphy walked over a sat on the bed.

S: hey justus

J: hi!

S: im gonna be stealing my friend now thank you byeee!

J: ha well it was nice talking to you crawford bye!

C: bye! That was quite rude of you to hang up on him like that

S: well in my defense he had you all morning AND your here to see me

C: ok ok well what do you wanna do?

S: do you wanna go get some breakfast?

C: I already ate

S: well I didn't and I'm hungry so let's go!

C: fine

S: eek! Alright ima go get changed be right back

C: kk!

(Time jump to restaurant)

C: aww this place is so cute!

S: I know right! It's definitely one of my favorites

C: where do you wanna sit?

S: how about over there by the windows?

C: ok!
