"Hinata you need to hurry up you'll be late for work" shouta yelled through the house. "I'm leaving see ya later, I'll bring some snacks and drinks home" he yelled as he closed the front door. Hinata rushed to his car and sped to the gas station to start his night shift. The first thing he sees when he walks in is a group of gang members. "Oh thank God a competent worker, Hey tangerine your asshole manager won't let me buy this vodka" a tall redhead man yelled.
Hinata sighed and gave his manager a sad look. "Sorry saik, he doesn't know you guys why are you harassing him cmon you know when i work" he laughed a bit before getting behind the counter. The men started to snicker like children while hinata clocked in on the till. "This is a new one, celebrating?" The smaller asked with a small smile. "We got a new recruit and he passed the tests. This is his welcome present" saik boasted loudly.
"Ooh newbie, what's his name?" Hinata scanned the vodka while making conversation. "Viper, he's one of those trans people" saik smiled like a child, proud of himself. "Your total is $13.50 and hey that's so cool bring him by sometime, alright you guys have a good night don't get in trouble please" they all started talking and laughing while walking out and hinata found himself a little nervous.
He didn't like being alone in the gas station. His manager never left the office so hinata was all alone staring at the dark outside. He decided to get on his phone for a moment to distract himself. Tiktok was getting kind of boring so he switched to YouTube to find a good video. Markiplier had just uploaded a new video, 2 hours long, perfect. He grabbed a monster and paid for it before starting the video.
About 20 minutes of laughter and cringing at the YouTuber go by before he hears something. "Eh hem" a voice coughs annoyed. He quickly pauses the video a bit flustered and puts the monster down. "Sorry I didn't hear you come in. Will this be all" he asked quickly scanning the items in embarrassment. "I need reds and xl condom" hinata nodded and grabbed the items also scanning them.
"Alright I just need an ID for the cigarettes" he said desperate to keep his composure. This 6 foot man bent down and glared at hinata like he was gonna kill him. "Here" he huffed throwing the card at the smaller. He ignored how obviously fake the ID was as he just wanted this to be over with. "You're total is $22.15" he said service smile taking over.
A bunch of ones and a quarter was tossed into the counter. He slowly counted to make sure he counted right. "Uh sir your 5 dollars short" he immediately regretted saying anything as the man got visibly angry. "No the fuck I'm not, count again you fucking people always try to get more money damn" his voice raising as he got more angry. Hinata counted two more times but the man was still 5 dollars short.
"I'm sorry it's still short-" "I'M NOT FUCKING SHORT TAKE THE MONEY OR I'LL FIND YOUR ADDRESS" the man threatened. Hinata being sort of used to this just sighed. He hit the silent alarm before anything as he could just tell this man wasn't going to leave. "You need to leave the store, here's your money Im not serving you" he said nervously. No amount of being around gangsters would make him less nervous.
When the man pulled a gun, hinata didn't react out of fear. Instead he quickly moved his phone to his pocket to save it. "You know I just wanted to buy my shit but now I'm robbing this place give me the giving money out the register" he yelled. When hinata just stood there he slammed the tangerines head into the counter in an attempt to knock him out.
A small wince showed him his attempt didn't work. "How do you open this fucking thing" he grunted struggling to open the register. Before hinata could say anything relief came to his ears in the form of police sirens. The doors were only locked from the inside so the cops could rush in. "Shit when did you call the cops" he yelled rushing around the counter to try and escape.
