Snow Storm

It was a very very cold Evening and i was sooo tired after working all day at my part time job as a cashier at the local cinema, I was the one that sold the popcorn and drinks at the front. A lot of people had come today as a new superhero movie had just come out, it was something about the multiverse I think. Anyway, there was a huge snow storm heading my way so I left work as soon as possible and headed to peters house.Once I got there I knocked a total of 4 times, when Peter finally came to the door. He looked like he had not been sleeping for a few days and his eyes were red like he had been crying. I was not the best at comforting people so I was kind of awkward.
" Im sorry you had to see me like this " Peter said darkly.
" Uh no man its fine!" I said quickly.
" are- are you okay? " I said.
" Oh im uh, im fine its been a bit of a tough week y'know " peter says trying to lighten up.
There was an odd awkward silence.
Peter had never been one to be honest about when he was sad or anxious, he had always just cared about how other felt.
( I have to admit  this is one of the main reasons i had really liked peter )
Peter invited me in, I took off my shoes and jumped onto the couch. I was hanging upside down on the very comfortable couch it was so cold outside.
He offered me some blankets and i accepted graciously. I slid down into a more comfortable position laying on the couch with my knees up.
Looked like peter was making something in the microwave, i was so tired i almost fell asleep.
" Hey dont fall asleep yet, im not just gonna let you crash and leave in the morning we have to at least watch a movie " Peter said.
" Fine, fine its not like i have any where else to be since the storm is only getting heavier " I said as i sat up on the couch, my knees close to my chest.
Petee sat close to me our hands almost touching, it was so so tempting to just hold his soft hands and tell him how much i loved him, but I knew deep down  that he would not date me however i had hope because peter had always said that he was open dating men if he had attraction towards them. That was the only hope I had.
Man am I desperate.
