Y/N looked up to see a girl with bright pink hair holding out her hand. Y/N shakily nodded and gripped the girl's hand.
With surprising strength, the pink haired girl picked Y/N off the ground. "My name's Valerie," She said and started walking slowly with Y/N. "My name is Y/N," The girl smiled back at Y/N.
"Now tell me, why are you down on this dirty ground crying." A sniffling Y/N looked at the girl and wiped her eyes. "I-I liked this guy but he was a bad guy- he was really nice- and i heard he was being executed here and- and-"
She choked up again and covered her face. "Hey, it's okay," The girl lightened up and looked at Y/N again. "What about your friends?"
"Most likely executed," Y/N replied in a monotone voice. "O-oh! I'm sorry," The pink haired girl stared shocked and looked away pondering how to make Y/N feel better about what was happening.
"How about I walk you home?" She asked in a saddened cheerful voice. "That sounds good..." Valerie held onto Y/N's arm and slowly walked her to Weston's house.
When they arrived, Valerie's mouth gaped open in awe. "You live here?!" Y/N chuckled. "Now I do." The pink haired girl walked her up to the doors and knocked.
Minutes later someone opened the door and looked at both of them. Her eyes widened as she looked at Y/N. "You have to get in here quit! He's not very happy..."
Y/N quickly walked inside and looked back at the girl. "I hope we meet again, Valerie." The pink haired girl smiled at Y/N and walked slowly backwards.
"I hope so too, Y/N," She walked off as Y/N closed the door. Y/N quickly headed upstairs to her room and bumped into Weston. "Where have you been?!" He grabbed her shoulders and yelled at her.
Tears began to appear at the corners of her eyes. "Stop yelling at me!" Y/N pushed Weston out of the way before he could finish his rant.
She quickly sprinted into her room and slammed the door shut. She locked the door and ran to her bed. Weston pounded on the door and started yelling.
She covered her ears with a pillow and shut her eyes tightly. The banging continued for what felt like an eternity but, they finally stopped.
She woke up the next morning feeling tired. The events that took place the night before flashed across her mind. She wanted to meet Valerie again but she didn't know where to find her.
Y/N hopped off the side of the bed. She couldn't feel the bottom of her feet touch the floor. She shrugged it off and began to walk to her dresser.
She put on a faded magenta top and sweat pants with sunset like tie dye. She then put on a pair of dirtied white Adidas and walked out of her bedroom.
As she was walking down the magnificent stairs that led to her hallway, there was a knock on the large oak front doors.
She walked quickly to the kitchen ignoring the knocking. There were a few workers in the kitchen scurring about. "Good morning Ms. Y/N!"
Y/N looked at the brunette who was cooking eggs in a small black pan. "Hello," She said in a blank tone. Her tone shocked her but her face held no expression.
"Did someone wake up on the wrong side of the bed?" The girl asked jokingly. "I don't know, did you?" Y/N asked in a bitter tone. The brunette looked hurt at the comment, but Y/N was surprised. Why was she being so rude today? Why did she not feel her face shape in any way when she said something?
"I-I'm sorry," Y/N mumbled barely audible. The kitchen sounds and shoe tapping on the hard ground was too loud for the girl to hear her.
Another worker walked into the kitchen the same entrance Y/N came in through. "Ms. Y/N, there's someone here to see you."
