We wanted to make everything canon.
After "The Gentle and the Cordial," I thought I was basically done writing Narnia fanfiction, at least in terms of concepts I wanted to explore and not just collabs. I met @NaturallyNarnian and we knew we wanted to collab. The thing that we noticed was, most all these crossovers and collabs that people do, they're all alt-universe, or non-canon, or something else to not mess with the individual characters' main stories. We realized we wanted to do something different, to cross over both our characters, after each of our big stories, in-universe, in canon, and have each crossover affect and grow the character past our big stories that preceded them.
Enter, the Narnia-Verse.
Everything is canon. Your OC you wrote an xPevensie One Shot with? Canon. The crossovers and collabs? Canon. We wanted to create a framework and build this understanding of the Narnia Multiverse, which is why it was so exciting to write Between Two Worlds, since it introduces the concept. This book, Into the Narnia-Verse, expands on that by including special cameos and of course introducing endless possibilities with crossovers.
I believe we pulled it off. I'm so grateful to @NaturallyNarnian for writing so much with me, it truly would not have happened without you, and this is only the beginning.
