Upon ending the call, Maebe rushed back to her house, following the trail that she left behind. But after covering a few feet she noticed her trail has been destroyed by something. "Or someone" she thinks to herself.
She tries to get back home by memory. But she found this task difficult as this was a new walking route that she had trailed along this morning. "If only I took my regular path" Maebe thought, cursing herself.
Remembering the phone call, she gets tensed and starts running through the thicc forest , but to her disappointment, she isn't able to get back to her house. She looks around stressed, breathing heavily, thinking how she'd ever get home.
That's when she hears a giggle. It's a childish, flirtatious giggle. She instantly thinks this must be the bastard who erased her trail.
She spins around to find her school enemy smirking down at her. "Wow, you look horrible" said he huskily, moaning slightly.
