BFDI Theory

The theory

"Really? Do you mean it?"

Firey replied almost instantly.

"Duh, of course I mean it. I mean, you're my best friend!"

Leafy gave a large smile, then she started to frown as if she remembered something.

"Firey?"

"Yeah?"

"Why didn't you let me on Dream Island?"

Firet started to feel a little uneasy. He was hoping that since he saved Leafy from execution, that she would forget that he had excluded her in the first place.

"Why did you steal it?" He replied quickly.

Leafy had forgotten all about her act for vengeance.

"What? Oh, here. I'm sorry that I took it." She said as she tried to hand him the piece of paper that had been the cause of trouble.

"Are you crazy? I've got my hands full!" Firey said as he shook the hang glider slightly, secretly relieved that Leafy seemed to have forgotten her original question.

"OK. I'll give it to you when we land." Leafy said.

Firey didn't say anything.

The truth was, he had no idea how to fly a hang glider. All he knew, was that when he heard that the other objects were planning on giving Leafy the death penalty, he panicked. So he grabbed snowball's hang glider, ran to the top of the closest hill he could find, and jumped. He didn't even know how they were still in the air. All he knew was that Leafy was safe. At least, until they crashed, since he had no idea how to land.

Maybe if i glide close enough to the ground, i could at least be able to let go of leafy, so that at least she could get down safely...

"Firey?" Leafy said, interrupting his thoughts.

"Yes?"

"Are you okay?"

Firey stared at Leafy for a second before he looked away to steer the hang glider, hoping that he wasn't blushing.

"I'm fine."

The real reason Firey didn't let Leafy on dream island was because he had a crush on her and he didn't want anyone to figure it out. So he thought that if he excluded Leafy from dream island, that he could forget about her.

Obviously, things didn't go as planned. But even if Leafy didn't buy dream island, although he didn't want to admit it, Firey knew he would have let her on sooner or later anyway.

Then, out of nowhere, the wind started to get really strong. It was pushing the hang glider down.

"The hang glider's shaking!" Firey yelled.

"I'm gonna fall!" Leafy yelled, terrified. If she fell from here...

At this point they were about 20 feet from the ground, just barely above the trees of evil forest.

"Hang on Leafy! I'll-"

Another strong wind pushed the hang glider up, which made Leafy fall.

Then everything faded to darkness.

When Leafy woke up, she almost forgot what had happened. Then it hit her as if she had just been slapped by needle.

She felt so miserable, all she wanted to do was cry. Then she started to hear voices coming from the distance...

"Come on! They have to be around here somewhere! We need to hurry and find them, so that we can get on with the execution!!"

"Look! There she is!"

"Lets get her!"

And that was when Leafy started running.

As for what happened to Firey? Let's rewind a bit...

The hang glider was shaking and Firey couldn't stop it. Then Leafy started yelling.

"I'm gonna fall!"

"Hang on Leafy! I'll-"

Then the hang glider shot upwards and Leafy's hand slipped out of Firey's.

"Leafy!"

Firey was looking down, trying to see where she fell, but he didn't watch where he was going...

SMASH!!!

Firey crashed into a tree! And because he was focusing so much on Leafy before he crashed, she ended up being the one thing he forgot when he hit his head.

When he woke up, he was against the blackened tree trunk of the tree he had crashed into head-first. He did not remember anything about the finale of BFDI, but he thought it had been canceled due to budget cuts.

That, is my BFDI theory.
