Part #22

A few more days passed and Yezun was again arguing with Chu "Chu, I had told you earlier to tell everything to all, tell everything clearly.. If you had listened to me at that time, then today we wouldn't be facing this issue.. your family should know everything, man!" Yezun said and his tone was a little frustrated

"I am still against this, Ye!.. We shouldn't tell about Wei's divorce to anybody and please prepare your family so that my family can meet them"

"It's not possible.. Right now, my Ge is in severe pain! I cannot prepare them for anything" Yezun denied on the spot and Chu argues with him "You have to talk to them and have to convince them, Ye"

"This is impossible!" Yezun was also not less and Chu sighs "Look Ye! My family is almost ready to come to your house to finalize our marriage.. Now I cannot delay this matter anymore"

"I've said to you earlier as well that I won't talk to them.." He was speaking and makes his tone a little lighter seeing Shen Wei coming into the room

"I am disconnecting the call now!" He coldly said and cuts the call.. Shen Wei cross his arms against his chest and leans at the wall "Instead of fighting with Chu, you should have talked to me about it"

"Wei Ge! I am trying to make him understand but he isn't understanding"

"He is also right, Ye!..." Wei answers and sits in front of his brother "But Wei Ge, dad?" Yezun said worriedly, Wei cupped his face "Don't take any tension about him.. I'm here, I'll make dad understand. Come on it's late now.. Just sleep" Wei said and walks out of the room silently...

In the morning, Wei makes tea for himself and outside his dad was reading the newspaper "Dad!" Wei comes closer to him and sits with his father "Yes?" His dad replied without looking at him

"I want to talk to you about something"

"Yes go ahead, I'm listening," Mr. Shen said and Wei place the cup on the table "You already know that my family is ruined but dad, I would never want that Ye's matter to get spoiled because of me.. this would be injustice with him"

Mr. Shen was silently listening and he nods "Whatever you want to say, say it clearly" He politely said while placing the newspaper aside "Dad..... Just call Chu's family and meet them once again.. They are trying to come since so long" Wei said in a pleading tone

"I've already met them before child also, I've already seen them" He was not ready to face that family again and giving Yezun in their hands also seems not a good decision. His heart was scared and moreover, he was not ready to call them in such circumstances

"Dad, Ye's life matter is far more important than all of them.. I don't want to get Ye's life affected, due to my destruction" Wei looks down and Mr. Shen nods "If this matter gets spoiled then I won't be able to forgive myself!" Shen Wei added

"Okay, call them! If this makes you happy then ok" His dad said while smiling making Shen Wei smile as well, he stands and hugs his dad's neck "Thank you!"

Later in the afternoon, Yezun was sitting on a swing in the garden and Wei comes to sit beside him, Yezun gets attentive and looks at his brother's sad face

"What answer dad give?" Yezun desperately asks and Wei makes sad expressions "He has refused!" Wei said and Yezun leans back "I knew it, dad won't ever accept this" He sadly pouts and Wei chuckles

"Hey, dumb! Dad has accepted"

"What! Really? Are you serious?" Yezun now can't hide his happiness and hugs Wei's arm "Now, quickly ask Chu to bring his family, dad is ready to meet them!"

Yezun kissed his cheek "Wei Ge! Thank you so much.. Today, you've fulfilled mom's place" Yezun said and Wei shook his head looking into Yezun's eyes "Not at all, Ye! I still miss mom.... (Both smiles sadly) But I am happy for you" Wei said and hugged Yezun
