Tagging With An Icon

(A/N: For those that don't know, this story is named "Trust Me" because of Mayu has had friends betraying her as well as tag team partners.

Here's the proof:

I really don't think she has trust issues, I think the wrestlers in Stardom just don't like her and they just want to bully her out of spite. If that doesn't makes sense, I don't know what does.

I felt so sorry for that I had to get this book out and prove that there is someone you can rely on, you can trust him/her to be your friend.

Anyway, onto the story.)

Today I was booked on a show for World Wonder Ring of Stardom in a mixed tag team match with the Icon of Stardom, Mayu Iwatani and myself taking on my best friend Masashi Takeda and Starlight Kid.

I really don't mind tagging against my best friend Takeda and with an up and coming WWRS wrestler in Starlight Kid and I'm tagging with someone named Mayu Iwatani.

I don't know what she looked like, but I know that Japan is full of cuties. I wonder what she looks like.

Takeda and I were excited to tag against each other while having a girl tag with us. I'm not really big on intergender matches, whether they're tag matches or anything like that. I just can't do it, wrestling fans who love that shit can call me an asshole all they want, but I'm not gonna do it. I'm sorry. I'm old school.

The two of us planned our spots for the people to witness and I know that Mayu and Starlight have their own spots planned. I really hope that this match turns out really good later and once he and his partner made their entrances, it was time for mine.

My music played as I put on my jacket and walked out there.

I saw the crowd clapping their hands and singing along to the music. They knew that this song is legendary and it should be clapped to as the announcer introduced me.

Announcer: そして、彼らの対戦相手は、まず、日本の長崎から、(And their opponents, first, from Nagasaki, Japan, ONITA AKIRA!)

I went inside the ring, throwing my water bottle and just going crazy during my entrance.

Then, I heard some music play and it turned out to be her...

Announcer: そして彼のタグチームパートナー、日本の鉱山出身、スターダムのアイコン、岩谷麻優！ (And his tag team partner, from Yamaguchi, Japan, the Icon of Stardom, IWATANI MAYU!)

I can tell, Mayu looked really cute and something just tingled in my stomach already. I don't know what it was, but I really am looking forward to being her partner for this match.

Once she entered the ring, the streamers were thrown, making it hard for her to walk, which I thought was so adorable, but I noticed something in her eyes. Her expression seemed happy and excited about tagging with me, but her eyes are telling me that she doesn't want to be my partner.

I have to try and ask her what's the problem once the match is over.

Once the bell rang, I got out of the ring so Mayu can go first against Starlight Kid. They were just so athletic and just so good that after a couple minutes of grappling and reversals, Mayu and Kid separated and had a staredown.
