"Y/N!!" A voice called from downstairs, you could already tell who it was. "Yeah!" You yelled back as you were continuing to pack a bag for your new home.

"Will you come down please!" The voice spoke up, you could sense a sort of urgency in her voice. You stoped folding your clothes and walked down to be greeted by your whole family.

Well, your whole family only consisted of your mother, father, younger sister and older brother. Both your parents were only children and as for their parents...
They were murdered, or rather thought to be as their bodies were never found and of course the Mikaelsons were to blame.

You noticed a sad look on your family's faces, fearing something awful has happened you quickly asked "what's going on?" to which your father replied "y/n, we're very sorry but we can't allow you to be associated with the y/l/n family any longer" your father said with a stern tone.

You stood in shock, thoughts racing through your mind, trying to figure out what you had done wrong. After a minute of silence you finally spoke up "but why?"

Your mother and siblings looked the floor, unable to keep eye contact with you. Your father looked you straight in the eyes and said "you're too careles to hold the y/l/n name, our family is stronger than the Mikaelsons and we can't have you roaming around crying over some boy"

Your sadness soon turned into anger, you couldn't believe that your family was abandoning you over emotion. "Thats not fair!" You screamed "I've helped this family so much, you can't kick me out for having one weak moment"

Your father sighed as he said "it's what's best, you were planning on leaving anyways"

"For a small trip" you pleaded, your father begun to speak but your mother cut him off "y/n I'm really sorry, we all are"

You were annoyed at how they thought you would just accept their apologies and let them happily disown you. "No mum! I don't want to hear your apologies, I can't believe you would do this to me"

Just as your mother began to start talking you rushed upstairs and locked your bedroom door. Now that you were alone in the comfort of your own room, you burst into tears.

You sat curled up in a little ball at the base of your bed, trying not to make any sounds because you didn't want your family to know you were weak.

You pulled yourself together and finished packing your bags, making sure to pack some snacks as a flight from England to America was going to be a very long journey.

You touched up your makeup, and got changed into a comfortable pair of leggings and a hoodie. You wanted to go for comfort as you'll have a long flight ahead of you.

As you walked downstairs you didn't interact with any of your family, serves them right as they weren't your family any longer. Despite this, you couldn't help but still care for them, you turned back and saw your little sister crying behind you.

You walked over to her and gave her a hug, in tears the little girl said "please don't leave me y/n" with a soft smile you replied "I would never do that, I promise to visit you okay?" She looked up to you, wiping her tears away, "promise?" You gave her another big hug "I promise"

Your sister lily always seemed to favour you more, you didn't mind at all since she was the sweetest girl you know. You took one last look at your old home before you made your way to the airport.
