Chapter 5

Once Octavia finished drying her tears she made her way back inside. She had been gone for a couple of minutes, so when she came back inside everyone was anxiously waiting for her to tell them some good news.

'They'll be here in 15.'

Everyone said 'yes' silently. And cheered. Stolas was saved. The doctor nodded.

'Good, we'll start preparing everything for when they come they can directly go to donate blood.' As the doctor turned to leave, Octavia called them over and whispered something in their ear. They nodded and left.

Loona asked, 'Octavia, who's coming over? And what did you tell the doctor?' She seemingly asked the questions that plagued everyone's minds.

'An upper level demon, so please be respectful and on your best behavior.'

All eyes turned to Blitzø, 'Oh c'mon, that's uncalled for. I'm always on my best behavior.'

Everyone lifted an eyebrow. No one believed that.

'Fine, fine. I'll behave.'

Octavia nodded. That was good enough for her. Now all they had to do is sit there and wait. And they didn't wait for long. Soon the doctor came out just as the person was walking in.

Octavia heard everyone around her gasp and they all focused their eyes on the King of Hell, who had just walked in. Octavia pushed herself from her seat and went to greet Lucifer. She curtsied and he nodded his head, accepting her sign of respect.

'Your Majesty,-' he brought his hand up to stop her.

'Call me Lucifer, Octavia. We aren't strangers.'

She nodded. 'Lucifer, I'm so glad you're here.'

He nodded and asked, 'Who's the doctor taking care of your father?' A demon soon spoke up. 'That would be me, Your Majesty,' they bowed. 'Can you please come this way, I'll lead you to a room so we can begin with the blood transfusion.' Lucifer nodded and followed.

While he passed the IMP gang, he stopped and silently addressed them. He nodded and continued to follow the doctor. Soon Lucifer was nowhere in sight.

The IMP gang rushed over to Octavia, 'Wait! You contacted Lucifer!' 'He NODDED at us! What does that mean?!' 'How are we NOT DEAD?!'

Octavia laughed, 'You guys worry too much. Lucifer is actually very kind. He's the King of Hell but he's not a monster.' Octavia sat back down far too comfortably for the IMP gang. She was very clearly enjoying their panic, 'You're enjoying our panic aren't you?!' She just laughed again, 'Hey, in my defence, I need something to cheer me up since all this crazy thing happened. And you guys do a great job at it.'

Moxxie's panic diminished, 'Well, if we're making you laugh, then I guess we can endure another scare like that.'

'Thanks, Moxxie, and the reason you're not dead is because as I mentioned before, Lucifer is actually quite kind. Millie the reason he nodded is that he knows about your business and why you're all here. As for you, Blitzø, the reason he's here is because he's the only ally and friend my dad has besides me and the remaining members of the Magne family.'

Blitzø halted, 'Wait, wait, wait! Last time Stolas got angry at me because and I quote "If you get in trouble, I get in trouble. We don't want that." And some other bullshit but Lucifer knew all along!'

'Yeah, I don't know the details. You're gonna have to ask Lucifer for that one.'

'Are you CRAZY?!?! He would kill me before I even get the chance!' Blitzø was flailing his arms around.

'If he wanted you dead, he would've killed you when he first found out you had the book instead of dad. Which was in the first week after you had it. So for the past year Lucifer has been aware and look at you, still here.'

'She's right, Sir,' Moxxie interrupted. 'If His Majesty has been aware and has let us continue to work then he must be okay with it.'

'I must be okay with what?'
