you've broken down my walls,
should i keep them down for you?
or will I just end up rebuilding them anyway?
your hopeful naivety and your confidence in me shook the supports of the iron wall around my heart
I've been hurt so much,
that its hard to tell if you are genuine.
i want to believe you are.
you never fail to make me smile, making my serious facade crumble to the ground
I want to believe you are good for me.
i hope you are.
your warm and caring heart started melting mine the minute you showed concern for me.
i need to know if this, if us, is worth it.
i hope it is.
when we're together, you bring out a side of me that I feared had been lost forever.
i want to believe it is here to stay.
i hope you are too.
