Slowly my senses began coming back to me. I started off with being able to hear voices from people talking around me. Still feeling disorientated, I screwed my eyes up trying to block out the light I could see peaking through my eyelids. Also turning my head away from the talking, as if that would help me.
"She's waking up", I heard a small female voice say from my right side.
The memories from earlier events came back to me and I suddenly shot up into a sitting position with wide eyes, glancing around to see myself sitting in a room completely covered in white.
I sat upon a white hospital bed covered with white linen sheets. The floor, cabinets and walls were white, even the door. No windows were visible, leaving me feeling as if I were inside a futuristic spaceship of some sort. To my left was a bedside table, and to my right was an armchair, with a middle-aged blonde woman occupying it. She glanced at me with her doe-like brown eyes with a slight smile on her face.
"Hello, Natasha. My Name is Doctor May, how are you feeling?" she asked me. I couldn't respond, I was in too much shock and was trying to figure out where I was. As I began to calm my rapid heartbeat down, I noticed a familiar green-eyed man by the door.
Brax.
I don't know why, but I felt a bit more confortable knowing another familiar face near me.
"Where am I?" I asked Brax, completely ignoring the doctor sitting beside me.
"You're in the Infirmary getting evaluated", Brax explained, "I wanted to see how you are doing, and apologise for using my abilities on you. I know it's against the rules, but you were struggling too much and I didn't have another option, and Sparrow was close to lashing out at you. I hope you can forgive me?" He questioned.
I looked into his eyes and saw how sincere he sounded, so I gave him a small nod before he smiled at me. "I'll leave you too it Lucy" Brax spoke towards the doctor, before turning around and leaving the room.
So Lucy must be her full name. Huh.
"Natasha, all the checks we have ran to assist us in understanding you health are completed" she told me, whilst walking towards a cupboard before pulling out a light blue sundress and undergarments.
As she walked back towards me, I looked down at myself and realised I'm in a white hospital gown. She passed me the clothes before telling me to put them on, whilst she goes and grabs a tracker. As the door closed behind me, I peeled off the hospital gown and put the undergarments on, followed by the sundress. The hem of the dress came down to about mid-thigh, and had thin spaghetti straps that sat upon my shoulders. A few minutes passed and Doctor May entered the room again.
"You look beautiful Darling!" She told me as she placed a needle-like contraption behind my ear, counting to three, before I felt a stabbing sensation where the needle once sat.
"Your tracker is now implanted, Natasha, so we can locate you at any time. I wouldn't advise you try to run away, because for starters, we have patrols around the boundaries to keep out intruders and stop escapees, and if you were to escape, we would find you and you will be punished. You seem like a lovely girl, and I would hate for anything bad to happen to you, so please just follow the rules and you wont have any issues." She spoke with a motherly tone.
I took in what she said to me. Would I trust myself enough to stay here? I know as soon as I find a way to leave I will be out of here in a flash, but I don't really know how much trouble I will get myself into and if it is possible or not to successfully escape.
