It took a moment or two before a maid notifies them of the King's invitation for dinner, just like what the Knightess, Dame Alicia said earlier. Ali dressed in a comfortable outfit he found in the closet, and indeed it as far from his usual style. He wore a pair of khaki pants that were long enough to pass by his ankles though Alicia rolled them up for him moments ago. He also wore a V-neck type, long-sleeved shirt made out of slick cotton presumably, it was a navy shade of brown. The set was kind of similar to those clothes that most people he saw around here wore, he wasn't really complaining or anything, it was indeed comfortable in a way. The V-neck style of the clothing had some sort of ribbon like tiny thread that was attached to both sides of the V-shaped neckline.
Alicia however, wore a chemise-like undertunic designed for the medieval times in terms of structure. It can be confirmed to be made of linen with a yellowish white color, the rims of her chemise lined with gold ribbons as the cloth was long-sleeved. The hem of the chemise was long enough to cover half her ankles. Knowing the medieval times is known for their conservativeness in terms of clothing. Not that Alicia minded though, she's not much of a fan of dresses but there was nothing else appropriate in the closet. Unless, she would rather wear male clothing.
Alicia wore beige colored flat shoes that somehow gave her comfort to move, Ali wore some sort of semi-boots of a hazelnut color, there were laces tied yet the opening was very much partially open and pretty much breathable in terms of description.
Nonetheless, they still wore their usual hairstyle, Ali without his agent hair-do.
Alicia took the lead; and followed the maid out, Ali following behind as his eyes wandered around the environment, they're in.
It was merely but a short journey to the dining area. The place was so enormous that Alicia herself finds it hard o navigate through the place despite her great sense of direction and memory. He palace could be even significantly twice as big as the main HQ of the base.
And she can easily navigate her way there even if she's been there for the first time.
As they arrived as mentioned, they took their seat by the long table. The King was busy reading scrolls and writing down notes with his feathered pen on his right side while his gaze was stern and serious. Ali felt slightly uncomfortable, seeing his other dimensional self like this, made him heavily reflect upon himself. They were like polar opposites, but with the same name, the same body, the same voice, and the same face. But if you take a closer look in observation.
They are heavily different beneath the same eyes.
"Your Majesty..." the knightess dame beside the king spoke and lightly tapped on his shoulder to get his attention. Which the king did, lifting his gaze to the woman before his eyes met with Ali's and Alicia's expecting gazes.
He cleared his throat slightly before placing his feathered pen down at the table and fixing his composure.
"Oh, my apologies, I didn't notice your presence." He lightly spoke in a soft tone. Which he earned a nod of acknowledgement from the two guests he had.
"It's no biggie." Ali commented with a light smile.
The king looked by the maids nearby and made a hand gesture, wherein the said maids hurried off to the kitchen to get their meals. It wasn't long before maid after maid holding each a variety of dishes and serving it on the table.
