Spirited Away - 8 years later ⚠️Slow Updates for now⚠️

Chapter 2

It's been a month since I visited the tunnel and I also just finished school. I am now a graduate and I feel great! I think I should try to go down and visit the tunnel, since its now been eactly 8 years since I left. To be completely honest, I realize now that, that world that I stumbled upon, was like a second home to me. If it weren't for my parents becoming pigs, I think I would have stayed there. Not just because it's like a home to me, but ... because of Haku.

"Chihiro?!" My mom calls. "Aren't you going to be late to go on your trip with your friends?!" She asks. "Oh yeah! I forgot. I'll be leaving in just a few minutes!" I say. I wasn't actually going on a full 3 month trip with my friend, but I was going on a trip to go back to the tunnel and hope that I can get through this time. I finish getting things ready and I put my hair up in the hairtie Zeniba gave me. I run out of my room with a bag full of clothes. "alright I'm heading out now. I'll be back when vacation ends!" I then go out the door and start walking towards the tunnel. I find the path that we took that lead us to the tunnel and I run along the path. After about 5 minutes I finally reach the tunnel.

"Wow... It looks different again. I looks like how it was when I first came through." I smile and hope that this is telling me that I'll actually be able to go through again. I take a deep breath and I start to walk through the tunnel. Its about the same time when I first came through as well which is quite surprising. I wonder if anyone will recognize me. I wonder if Haku will even recognize me. I smile at the thought of that. I finally reach the end of the tunnel and it's not woods anymore... I see the open plains just like 8 years ago.

As I look around and walk the same path I did 8 years ago, I hear a nonfamiliar voice telling me, "By your 18th birthday, If you decide that you want to be with the one you love, you will have to say goodbye to the life you have." I look so confused and then I see the ship that I also saw 8 years ago. "Oh no ... I better get to the bridge quick and ask for food so I don't disappear." I run as I carry my bag to the bridge. It takes me about 4 minutes to get there and my legs start hurting. I start to walk accross the bridge and spirits start giving me dirty looks. Yeah Yeah I know its the whole 'Im human' deal. I get to the end of the bridge and a spirit says, "HEY HEY whoa whoa whoa whoa ... NO HUMANS ALLOWED!!! " I look at the familiar spirit and say, "so you don't remember me huh..." The spirit just gives me a dirty look again. "remember me ... Sen ... " The spirits eyes widen and he examines me.

"M-my eyes aren't deciving me now... HEY GUYS!!!!!!! SEN IS BACK!!!! " I hear every start saying 'SEN'S BACK' and I can hear them cheering. I decided to ask Yubaba for my job back even though Haku isn't working for her anymore. "I got to go see Yubaba.. Can I pass through please" I ask. The spirit lets me in and I make my way through the cheering crowd. I haven't started disappearing yet which is surprising. I go up to the top floor where Yubaba is. I walk up to the door and the doorknocker says, "Well well well.. Sen... Good to see you again and how grown you have gotten." Hmph that doorknocker can be such a pain at times. "May you please let me in, I would like to speak with Yubaba" I ask politly. The doorknocker says very well and opens all the doors. I bow and say thank you, then I walk through the doors as the close right behind me. I reach the final door and I see Yubaba at her desk.

"Ahhh Sen. I've been wondering if you were coming back. It's been 8 years since you were here last. So ... what do you need?" Yubaba has a grin on her face so I figure that she already knows. "I would like to get my job back... please? " I look at Yubaba and she gives me a smug look. "well... Depends if you are going to leave again. you know I don't like job hoppers." I smirk, "Not this time Yubaba.. .I think I'm going to stay here. This is practically my second home. I feel more at home here than in the human world." I smile. Yubaba sighs and a contract and pen comes to me. "you remember what to do", Yubaba says and I sign my name and I say, "Let me guess, my names Sen again huh?" I grin. Yubaba gives me another smug look. "well thats what people know you by so I guess so." I then start to walk out of the room and I make a sly comment, "Oh and Yubaba, Call me Chihiro if you wish to call me that, Sen is a boring name for me." Yubaba looks dumbfounded because Yubaba stole my name again but before I signed the contract, I wrote my name on my wrist.

I walk out and I walk through the bathouse. I see Lin and I run up to her and hug her. "LIN! I've missed you a whole bunch!" I say as she looks at me. "Who the hell do you think you... wait ... Sen!??? " Her eyes widen and she then takes a good look at me. "Wow Sen, You have grown up and become a beautiful women... I don't even know if Haku could look at you for long before he gets a nosebleed" Lin laughs. I feel myself blush and I look at Lin. "hush it okay... :"T I don't think he likes me like that" I say. Lin gives me a smug look and makes a sly comment, "He's head over heels in love with you Sen.. haha it's kinda funny." I look at Lin in disbelief. "where is Haku anyways?" I ask her. "He went to his river for the day ... he should be back tomorrow" She says. I sigh and looks down. "Well do you have any food ... I need to eat something so I don't disappear." I say to Lin and she look at me. "head up to my room and check underneath the blankets, there should be some food there." I smile and bow. "thank you!"

I head straight to Lin's room and I find the food. I start to eat it and I can feel like my body has settled in. I then make my bed and I sit outside like I did many years ago. I look at the sky and I finish eating. I stand up and I start to walk back to the room when, out of the corner of my eye, I see a faint outline of a dragon flying towards the bath house. I start to get excited and the dragon goes to bridge and walks over it. I go into Lins room and I lay down, waiting for haku to come and find me. While I wait, I shut my eyes and I accidentally fall asleep. While Im asleep, Haku hears the news about me coming back and he runs to find me and Lin stops him. She tells him that I am asleep and not to see me yet. Haku listens and sighs and does what Lin said and he goes to his room.

(Seems like Haku is getting anxious to see Chihiro XD lol. What will Haku think of Chihiro, being all grown up? well continue reading to find out ... well... only if I have published the next part. Should I maybe have some unfortunate event happen to Chihiro's family?? :/ )
