One day, I woke up remembering nothing. All I knew was my name. I can’t remember where I lived, when I was born, or even who I am.
I’m standing alone here on an island I don’t even know, or why am I here. I just felt like I was lost- I was lost in search of something. But I already forgot why I've been looking for. I fell on my knees and tears started to flow. I was screaming for help, yet no one could hear me. My heart was in fear. My body was shaking. I tried to stop crying but my tears were unstoppable.
Then suddenly...
“Move,” someone whispered. I startled. I looked around but see no one. I stood up and shouted, “Who’s there!?”
“Don’t ask, just move,” the voice replied.
I was confused, but before I knew it, my feet started to walk on its own. I walked faster and faster, until I was already running. My feet stopped running when I reached the peak of the cliff.
It was too high. My heart begun to beat rapidly.“Jump.”
I gulped.
“Are you sure about this?” I asked.
“Don’t ask, just move,” he replied.
“Okay.” I took a deep breath, closed eyes and jumped.
I was falling and falling and falling.
“Open your eyes,” he said.
“But I can’t,” I replied.
“Open your eyes,” he said again.
“I’ll trust you for this,” I did open my eyes.
I wasn’t falling anymore. I was FLYING.
I saw my reflection on the sea and I was amazed of what I saw.
I have huge wings.
“Wohoo!!!” I screamed in excitement as I soar higher and higher.
I saw a bright light, and it seems like it invites me to come near. I spanned for it, until I ended up in front of a gigantic golden gate, it shined so bright that I could lost my sight. I was about to touch it...
“Celine,” called a familiar voice.
I turned around, finally saw his face. All this time, it was Him. I smiled. I longed to see Him. I ran towards Him, and wrapped Him in my arms. He embraced me back. I felt his warmth. This is what I’ve been searching for. We stayed like that for a minute, then he let go. He looked at me into the eye.
“My daughter,” he said as he touches my face. I held his hand.
“You are no longer lost,” he added. “I’m always here for you. You have nothing to worry about. I, your Father will always protect you. So don’t be frightened.”
I nodded. My heart was filled with joy seeing HIM.
“But it’s not yet your time. You still have a mission to fulfill. Life may be hard, but have faith, I will help you with your cross,” he assured.
“Now, close your eyes. I’ll count 1 to 10, and then open them again.”
“1...” he started counting.
“Wait!” I interrupted.
“Will I ever see you again... GOD?”
“I’m always in your heart. I’m a part of you. You’ll always see me, just have FAITH,” he answered.
“2...” he continued counting.
“3... 4... 5... 6... 7... 8... 9... 10...”
I opened my eyes. I was lying on a fluffy bed with some respiratory apparatuses connected to my body. I heard an identical voice calling my name as she weep.
“Celine, thanks God you’re awake. Doc, doc,” Mom said.
Mom was holding my hand tightly.
“It’s a miracle! For 3 years in coma... I couldn’t believe you could survive.” the doctor said in amusement.
“Welcome to your second life little sis,” my older brother said, then kissed me on the forehead.
I was lost but found and was guided to the right path. I died but was revived.
And it was all because I had a Glimpse of HIM.
The end.
