As we were all sitting.. And I could see that every one of us is agitated and curious what this meeting is all about.

She walked in and took the seat facing  us and whatever it is, it's serious I could see by the way she was looking at us.

"Guys I have something very important to tell you, that's why I asked all of you to come down this side during your first  break.

Your dad (coughs) ummm Harold left me, left us,

" What do you mean left us ?" I asked

She just sighed and gave me a look and I immediately apologized and kept quiet.

"I made him divorce me 2 years ago, I found out I'm suffering from a deadly illness and I knew where it  all end.. I did not want to hurt him so I did something whick I knew he was gonna be hurt enough to leave me.. I took full custody of all of you and told him I've fallen out of love with him and I'd like to move on with someone else but he can have access to you and see you guys according to my conditions.. That's why you all never realized we weren't together for the past two years.

I know you all must be asking yourselves what's wrong with me and why I did all that I did but until now I feel like its the best decision I have ever made.
I'm dying, I don't have much time left... That's why I would like you all to continue keeping in touch even when I'm not here anymore,
You should continue coming home for Christmas and all the festivities as before.
