Elf Shoto x Y/N

Chapter two

Shoto POV~
Yes I've formed a crush on Y/N but how could I not? Y/P is so perfect! I just wanna take Y/P as my own. Father did say I needed someone to marry by the end of the month, well here I am. He didn't specify the species he just said someone to marry. I hope he's ok with a human on the throne. I looked up at Y/P. "You're going to be stuck here for a while because you're marrying me." I said with a smile.

Y/N POV~
He smiled as he said this. Marrying?! A prince?! Me?! I'm sorry what's so special about me? I'm just a human Y/G(your gender) and he's an elf prince. I'm not royalty whatsoever. Yet he chose me to marry. "I'm sorry marry?"

Shoto: "Yes. Marry. Is there a problem?"

Y/N: I shook my head quickly. "Nope just that I'm curious why you wanna marry me. I'm just a human Y/G and not even royalty."

Shoto: He smiled at this remark. "Because one you're beautiful, two you're a nice enough person with a boring life that needs adventure, and three I needed someone to marry by the end of the month."

He had me there. I did need adventure. This was amazing and all but I'm not even 18 yet. Heck I'm only 16. I got so confused as to why he chose me. He could've gone with my best friend. Amelia! Oh no I forgot about her! She's probably so confused. Just then the door opens and... Amelia? She's... here?! As an elf? Could this day get any weirder? "Amelia?"

Amelia: She looks up at me. "Y/N? What are you doing here? Sir is this who you chose? Y/P's just a human!"

Y/N: "He kidnapped me."

Shoto: "Yes I'm fully aware of Y/P species. I was desperate and I wanted to see what you do in the human world and I saw your friend here. Isn't Y/P beautiful?" He said resting his chin on his hands, smiling.

Amelia: "Sir what about your father?"

Shoto: "He never specified on the species or gender. So I picked Y/N here."

Just then a loud voice could be heard booming through what I believe was the castle. "SHOTOOOOO"

Shoto POV~
I heard my father, endeavor's, voice and winced. He needed something. "I'll be back, my love."

Y/N: "Don't call me that" Y/P said, crossing their arms and pouting.

Amelia: "Y/N you can't just-"

Shoto: I put my hand up and stopped Amelia. "Of course. What would you prefer I call you?"

Y/N: Y/P looked up then thought for a second. "N/N! Call me N/N(nickname)"

Shoto: I nodded. "Alright, N/N. I'll see you later." I say as my father's voice booms through the castle once again shouting my name.

I walk through the castle walls to my father's throne room and find him sitting on his throne as usual.

Endeavor: "Shoto, have you found someone to marry?"

Shoto: I smiled and nodded. "Yes father. Y/P name is Y/N and Y/P is a human."

Endeavor: He nodded. "Alright. Your wedding will be held the third week of next month."

Shoto: My eyes widened but I smiled and bowed. "Thank you, father."

I run back to the room only to find Y/P asleep and Amelia leaving your room.

Amelia: "So? How'd it go?"

Shoto: "The wedding's going to be held the third week of next month."

Amelia: "He approved?!"

Shoto: "Quite calmly actually"

Amelia: "That's scary. You sure Y/N's gonna be ok?"

Shoto: "He's probably just gonna do that ritual and she'll be one of us."

Amelia: "That ritual?! But not everyone survives it!"

Shoto: "You know Y/N better than any of us here. Do you think Y/P can survive it?"

Amelia: She hesitates but nods. "Yes, I believe Y/P can."
