Travelling is hell

We arrived at the airport with an hour to spare. Campbell and I took our suitcases out of the back of the car, along with Lizzie's and put them on the sidewalk and we left to get trolleys. We came back with a trolley each.

"Hey what about ours?" Tom said with a groan.

"You are strong. You can carry them," I said with a cheeky grin.

"Very funny Ellie!" Josh said with a wink.

"What? It is true! We have too many bags to be able to carry them," Campbell said.

"Fine, but don't go asking for anything else!" Tom said as he, Michael and Josh left to get them some trolleys.

"Hey coach, what time are the others meant to arrive?" Campbell asked as we walked towards the entrance

"In about 5 mins for SPC and 10 for Splitz. Eastwood left yesterday from the Eastwood airport" Coach said.

"Then we leave all to Melbourne on the same flight?" I asked.

"Yes. We leave at midday and will arrive in Melbourne around 2.30" Coach said. We walked into the airport and towards the check in was when I heard someone call out Coach's name, but he didn't seam to hear as he was having a conversation with Lizzie, and the boys behind us were making the loudest noise possible.

"Mitchell!" the voice said again.

Coach turned around to see who had called his name, and then he smiled and waved. Campbell and I turned around to see who was there, and then I had a mouthful of hair! I was so shocked I spun around and nearly threw the person to the ground; before realizing it was one of our friends we've met through competitions.

"Kia! You're strangling me a little bit!" I said to her.

"Sorry Ellie! I haven't seen you in ages and now we're going to nationals together!" Kia or Nikia nearly screamed at me.

"Nikia! Calm down!" Coach Mitchell said to Kia before turning back to Coach Nadia, who was the coach of Nikia, and Super Performance Gymnastics centre or SPC.

"Sorry Coach Mitchell!" Kia said before turning back to me.

"So, are you ready for this you two?" She asked.

"Of course we are! Did you have to ask?" I said to her. "I suppose not!" Kia laughed.

"Okay, we have serious business to discuss." Kia started, "What business is that?" I asked her.

"Is it about?" Campbell asked Kia, who nodded.

"Okay, Ellie, what is going on with you and Josh?!" Kia asked.

"Where did that come from?" I asked both of them. Everyone knows about Josh and I, and even though they don't believe it, Josh and I have been best friends since we were in kindy and there is nothing going on (well not yet anyway, although more needs to happen).

" Come on Ell, you and Josh both have feelings for each other, everyone knows it. Haven't you noticed him? He hasn't stopped looking at you all day!" Campbell said, "Also, I noticed that since I've been here!" Kia said. I looked over at the boys, Campbell and Kia were right Josh was looking at me, he smiled and I smiled back.

"See Ellie. Even today, I noticed you looking at him, and you sat on his lap at Coaches place before too" Campbell said.

"Nadia, Mitchell!" Said Coach Meaghan, from Splitz, called out, stopping me from replying.

Coach Meaghan turned to address Splitz.

"Splitz, over here guys" She said.

"Okay" Coach said when everyone was gathered around.
