"Do you really have to go Addy?" Roselyn groaned through the other end of the receiver. "I mean no offense, but this man has literally walked out on your life and you just want to pack your bags and travel the world to see him?" She questions through the phone.

I fold another shirt and place it into my suitcase while balancing the phone between my shoulder and ear. I sigh as I rub my temples. "Look Rose, I know you are mad at him and all but I can't hide from him forever, you know? And as much as I hate to say one of us has to take the high road, might as well be me. He wants to see me and Kay and if we don't go there he will end up coming out to Los Angeles for us and honestly my mom would freak out if he did. It's best if we just go there."

"What the hell dude?" Rose chuckles.

I furrow my eyebrows as I zip up the stuffed suit case and plop down on my mattress. "Did I miss something?"

She sighs very loud into the phone and I cringe. "Okay I understand the part about you going there but you can't just leave me here with our extremely horny friend Izzy who basically pounces on any thing with a dick."

I laugh falling back into my bed. "Wow way to be blunt Rose."

She laughs too and soon we are both cracking up like dorks on the phone. "Well as much as I'd love to see that happen Rose, I gotta go my flight leaves in four hours and I want to stop by the studio first."

"Sure thing Addy, say hey to Tina for me." I mumble a sure and hang up my phone, placing it in my back pocket. Lacing up my shoes I start for the door and head down to the studio.

After the short walk I arrive and find the doors open. I look around confused at the empty street. Tina never leaves the doors open, why would she now?

Slowly I step closer to the doors and peek my head inside. Scanning the room I find that it's surprisingly full, in fact it's actually crowded with kids. I step carefully inside unsure if this is actually a dream or if it's really happening. I spot Tina up around the sketching area with a few younger kids.

Weaving through people I finally reach her and stare at her dumbfounded. "Tina!" I call to her to get her through all the loud screams of kids.

Her head snaps up in my direction and soon her light sea green eyes meet mine and she beans at me. Stepping off the small step stool she strides up to me and envelopes me in a large hug. I quickly hug her back before pulling away to look at her.

She looks truly happy. And I'm so damn happy for her. "You'll never believe what happened!" She shouts excitedly through the chaos. She motions for me to follow her until I'm atop of the stairs staring back at the low lighted moral. She turns on her heel and pulls me to the small couch before she starts.

"Okay so I was driving to the beach the other day and so I brought my sketch book with me. Then when I was packing up it started to fly away but this really hot surfer dude caught it and he was all like 'woah sick sketches dude' so then he told me that he's always wanted to learn to draw like that. I asked him if he wanted me to teach him so we spent the rest of the day drawing together and before I left he told me that he knows some other people that would want to draw so I gave him our card and he sent his whole group of mini lifeguards in training here!" she finishes her huge story out of breath while shaking my shoulders.

I stare at her for a minute before the realization had finally hit me. Soon a large goofy grin spreads across my face and it feels as if a large weight has been lifted from my shoulders. Sighing I wrap Tina in a hug and rest my head on her shoulders as I congratulate her.

We are going to be okay, it's all going to be okay.

After pulling away Tina glances down at her small wrist watch and a frown forms on her small lips. "Hey Addy what are you doing here, you don't get out of school for another two hours?" She questione me warily while folding her arms across her chest.

I sigh and look up at her. "I'm going to New York." I state and she stares at me for a good five minutes, her mouth hanging open. "I'm visiting my dad."

Checking my phone I quickly hop into the car and head off towards the airport. After explaining the story to Tina, I said my goodbyes and started packing my car. With tickets in hand I zoom past dodgy cars, eager to get onto the flight in time.

"Wow Addy chill on the gas okay." Kaira places her hand on my arm and stares at me as if I've just grown another head. I roll my eyes at her gesture.

"Well if someone didn't take an hour to say goodbye to her previous boyfriend I wouldn't have to rush to get to our flight in time." I explain to her while keeping my eyes glued onto the hasty road.

She groans. "Come on! Kev and I only took 60 minutes we were just snuggling so it's no big deal."

"Kaira 60 minutes is an hour and snuggling is actually getting STDs so I'd be careful if I were you." I stare matter of factly.

"Addeline!" She scoffs hitting my arm and folding her arms across her chest.
"Snuggling is not getting STDs alright! And at least I have someone to snuggle with, meanwhile you are single and have been for a while now."

"Kaira if I wanted a boyfriend I'd have one alright? I'm just not interested right now." She rolls her eyes and mumbles an 'mhm'.

I stare at her confused before turning my attention back to the road. "What is it now?" I ask her annoyance dripping from my tone.

"Like hell you don't want a boyfriend. Your eyes basically indulged Kendall like he was candy before you found out he plays for the other team."

"Kay just because I look at a guy doesn't mean I want him. Plus, even if Ken is gay, he's pretty hot."

"As if!" She snorts turning her body towards the window and staring at the large airport ahead of us.

I laugh lightly. "Sure Cher."

She gasps and slowly turns her body to face me. "No way did my big sis just quote one of the best movies of the 90s!"

"Yes way." I reply smirking back at her before turning into the airport parking lot. After parking in a far safe spot where my precious baby won't be kidnapped, I unload my luggage and lead my sister through the crowded airport.

After going through many complicated routes, we finally arrive at a small cafe near where our plane would be arriving. After placing all my stuff down at the table where my sister is seated I head up to the counter and order myself a coffee.

An hour passes and it's finally time to load onto the plane. Making a bee line for the entrance, my sister and I quickly enter the shaft and get seated on the plane. Picking the window seat, I stuff my small carry on bag under neath me and pop in my earbuds, hoping that this trip won't be a disaster. And with that final thought, the plane takes off and I'm on my way to New York.
