I was confused why he sounded so certain but I accepted it.
I stood up and waved and said goodbye to all the others on the table.
Louis, Tobi and I left the pub and Louis led us to the bus stop.
We didn't talk much because we all were a bit tipsy and tired, but it was a good quietness. Even Tobi seemed to enjoy it. It felt warm and trustful and ... right. Seemed like Louis didn't only give me a feeling of home through the internet but also in real life.
„Thank you. For everything", I whispered.
Louis smiled and gently touched my shoulder.
He had understood.
We arrived the bus stop and it was time to say goodbye. I was nearly sober and that didn't make saying goodbye more easy.
„Listen", Tobi said, „if you want to you can have my number. And if one day you are coincidentally at the same pub as we, we can maybe meet again."
„Really?", I asked with incredibly much excitement.
„Really", Tobi said.
While I typed his number in my phone Louis said: „I hope you can understand why I can't give you my number."
„Of course!", I hurried to say, „not that I'm saying that I'm not trustable, I am, but if I where you I wouldn't give anyone my number under any circumstance."
Louis looked at me. „I like you, Thea", he said.
„How many heart attacks do you want me to have on one day?", I asked.
He just smiled. „I'm being honest", he said.
„Thank you so much Louis Tomlinson. You can't imagine how much I like you." After a short time I added: „I am sorry that I didn't tell you earlier."
„It's okay, I didn't let you. I like to make new friends, doesn't matter if they like my music or not."
„Thank you so, so much."
„Do you want me to make a souvenir photo of you two?", Tobi asked me.
„No", I said, „but I would love it if the three of us could make a souvenir selfie."
Tobi and Louis agreed immediately and I took my phone and made as many photos as I could. Safety first.
I couldn't stop smiling hard as fuck, didn't matter how hard I tried.
But then the bus came and I had to say goodbye one last time on this day.
First I hugged Tobi and then Louis, as long as possible. But eventually the bus opened its doors and we had to end the hug. It had been definitely one of the best hugs in my life.
I went into the bus, scanned the ticket code on my phone, took a seat at the window and then I waved to Tobi and Louis until I didn't see them anymore.
I laid back, closed my eyes and exhaled.
If I knew one thing then that I will never forget that day.
