Hunters will only attack their prey, whether it is witches or demons. They will never attack other people, unless the others attack first - a fact that the teams definitely don't know and, even from the Mirror Dimension, I can see they will soon learn.

I need to go back to the real dimension. The wizards have stated before that one can only leave the Mirror Dimension with a portal. I don't know if I can create one on time.

Through the warped illusions, I watch Strange threaten the hunters.

I have to try. My copy of the sling ring is conjured around the fingers of my left hand... That's a problem. My left arm is still injured and numb from the holy water, and I don't think I can exchange hands for the spell.

Slowly, I put my left hand up. Come on, it's not that bad, I try my best to ignore the pinching pain and completely straighten my arm in front of me. Then, I start moving my right hand anticlockwise, like the instructions said. Even though I can see the Vatican, I still think of it, trying to open the portal. Only a few orange sparks show up.

Barney points at the hunters with his gun.

Go ahead, Star. You have done this before. I move my hand again, as my left arm starts getting tired from being held up for a long time. Finally, the orange sparks swiftly turn into a decent portal, and the moment it's big enough for me to cross, I jump through it.

I am now standing right in the middle of the confrontation, facing the hunters. When they notice me, they put their crossbows down in doubt. I look back at the teams, and they are still on guard, so I put my right hand up,

—I will talk with them. —

Walking over to the hunters, the leader points at me with his crossbow, but I ignore it. I stay a few steps away from them.

—You're a demon. —the leader says, —Very bold of you to stand in front of me. —

I roll my eyes. —And a witch. You can't hurt me. Tell me, why are you here? —

—Look behind you. —he waves his crossbow around, pointing in different directions. —All of that mess. The Vatican's been corrupted by those demons. They- They infiltrated our holy places! It's disrespectful and they need to leave now. —

—We are taking care of them already. —I look back, and confirm that the few demons left were exorcised or succumbed to the pain of the holy water. —You need to leave. —

He shakes his head, —Your exorcisms aren't enough. They deserve a bigger punishment. —

Death.

—Of course. Who sent you? —

Clutching his crossbow tighter, he shows what looks like a smile. —I'm not really allowed to out our clients and informants like that, but... —he uses the end of the weapon to try to caress my cheek, but I move my face away. I'm very close to attacking him. —The Miss told us about you. You look kinda different but she warned us of that. —

She called them. Sabrina called them. She knows demons are showing up on Earth and She wants to stop them, like us, but killing them. Or did She send them after me?

—These arrows were made with palo santo, wanna see what they can do? —

Holy wood. He aims the crossbow at something behind me and I try to move it away, but he shoots before I can change the course. I look back - Maximoff is holding the arrow, having grabbed it with his superspeed, and impeding it from hitting the target;

Agent Victoire Barton.

Of course. Looking back at the leader, I take advantage of my grip on the crossbow and jank it from his hand, kneeling him in his stomach, and pushing him onto the floor.

His men raise their own crossbows at me, but through the partially opened doors, I see big vehicles arrive.

—Let's go. —Wong says, —The firefighters are here. —

He creates a portal and the teams are quick to rush into it, trying to evade the situation the best they can. Before the so-called firefighters enter, I move my hand, casting an illusion around the hunters that will surely get them in trouble. I turn their crossbows into fake lighters and guns like the ones I have seen the agents bear.

Then, I look at the leader's crossbow in my hand. —I'm going to be keeping this. —

Finally, making sure there are definitely no more demons left, I leave through the portal, and we are all now at the Sanctum's lobby.

The X-Men take less than two minutes to leave on their own accord, honestly believing the "mission" has been an entire success. Strange grabs the crossbow from my hand and gives it to Cloak, who probably takes it to the museum-like side of the house. Victoire, noticeably scratching her arms, tries to go up the stairs,

—I need a bath-—

—And I need answers. —Strange stops her with his words, —What are you? —

Great question.

She sighs, obviously tired, and looks back at him. —I don't know. Star said I'm not a hundred percent human, so, who knows? —she crosses her arms, —Maybe you can discover the answer, Doctor Strange. —

Barney frowns, —What? —

—There's something weird about your sister and I need to know what it is. Something magical in nature. —Strange mutters.

—Well, —the male Barton shrugs, —Mom used to say her dad was very weird. —

Victoire bitterly smiles. —Yeah. She did. I'll be leaving if there are no more questions. —
