Jimin was staring longly at the t.v admiring baekhyun's who was performing live. His charisma, dancing, facial expression and confidence is what made him his role model. With his outstanding stage presences it was clear to him that Baehyun was enjoying every second on the the stage. He thought he expressed himself the best.
Jimin sat on the couch hugging himself with his knees to his chest and began to sing softly trying to synchronize with baekhyun
Seconds later there was a knock on the door. "Jimin, I'm home" his father voice echoed through the halls that made Jimin flinch
He jumped off the couch looking for the remote control. "Welcome back dad" he answered turning off the t.v
Mr.park opened the door to the living room to check on his son who was standing suspiciously in front of the door. He noticed the remote control in his hands and glanced back at the t.v and back at Jimin. looking at Jimin's tense expression he knew he was hiding something.
Mr.Park brows wrinkled as he frowned at him "What did I say about watching those ridiculous celebrity shows?"
Jimin gulped "What's the harm in watching a little bit?"
"It's a distraction to your studies, if you become obsess over some silly idols you will never get into a good university school in the future" his face looked stern and voice so serious "I'm doing this for your own good, please understand that"
Jimin wanted to say something. He couldn't unclench his fist. He wanted to speak up but he couldn't bring himself to do it.
"Yeah, your right I'm sorry,"
Jimin walked passed him heading to his room feeling helpless. Ever since he developed an interest in singing, his father has stated that he did not support his endeavors. His whole future had already been set from the beginning and his father can only dream of him pursuing a masters degree and getting a job in the engineering field. It was his father's dream but not Jimin's.
As time passes by, Jimin's love for music has been growing and recently his father has been showing his disappointment. It breaks Jimin's heart that he didn't understand his passion. Or that he has so little faith in him. The worst part is the conflict that can impact him, his dreams of pursuing may hurt his father in the future. But then again it was impossible for his dream to be achieved with his low self esteem, lack of confidence, and anxiety in front of people. Such measures were highly impracticable for Jimin to reach. dreaming and visualizing himself on a big stage was all he could do.
He looked over at the table drawer and glanced at the picture frame that he took with his mother on his nine year old birthday party. Thinking back at It now he remembers his mother would sing him a song whenever he couldn't sleep. His mother loved singing and there were times Jimin felt like they both shared the same dreams. He laid on his bed bringing the frame closer to his chest. It's already been four year since she died and it was times like these that he wished she was alive.
Jimin closed his eyes wanting to forget about his dream of becoming a singer but..
"You are blessed with a beautiful voice and I know it's probably strange for a guy to say this.. but I can listen to your voice over and over again"
He couldn't bring himself to forget about the boy who complimented his voice as it was the first time that someone praised him like that. He smiled thinking that maybe Jungkook was probably his name.

A day has passed by and Jungkook and Hoseok were on their way to their first period class. Hoseok noticed the younger's mood has lightened up lately as he was gently humming to a song which he believes was from EXO. He remembers that the younger would always bash on the group so it was kind of a surprise to hear him jam to one of their songs early in the morning.
