My first story on Wattpad, so id like to say hello to anyone reading this. I have been diving into rwby fanfics recently and was inspired to make my own. And in the lore of rwby, the king of vale caught my eye the most, so I'm going to do a lineage...

Were going heavy for armor, all those characters in the story rely too heavily on their aura. I like good old-fashioned hardened steel with some extra plot shit to make it a little better.

All alright, with the wanting to stay hidden, you simply call it mantle.
mantles ability include: calming others emotions, reading others emotions, like deep emotions, almost like mindreading but without the voices and details, and lastly providing a second protective barrier to others (you only have one, no double up for you)
your real semblance is Kings Mantle, a crucial distinction.
This has two primary abilities that you can call upon.
1. kings decree: you speak a command that calls upon all you want to hear, friend or foe, and gives them an order. now, do they have to follow it? No, but the order's intent can affect the target, like telling a group of grim to only attack you instead of your friends, mental willpower can affect how easy they can resist your order. That's just an example. The downside is if it's used on allies and they refuse, it's a sign of a weak king, and the decree can backfire and result in horrible side effects... what side effects, you might ask? That's a surprise, definitely not because I can't think of anything yet, definitely not that.
2. a king is nothing without his people: you can call upon the strength of those around you to boost your power, speed, and other attributes. The downside is if one of the people adding your auras breaks, then any damage they take after is inflicted on you, and its effects are under your own aura, meaning it ATTACKS YOUR HITPOINTS DIRECTLY!
