New neighbor??

I got home from school and said hi to my mom "Sweetie I was thinking we could meet the new neighbors tonight after you finish your schoolwork?" she asked " Ya sure" I responded

I finished my homework quickly and ran out side to meet my new neighbor. Apparently he was my age but doesn't ride the bus.

I knocked on the door and a boy answered, but I knew this boy, it was Luke!!!! I was LIVING right next to LUKE Korns!!!!

" Hey new neighbor" I said " Hey why don't you come upstairs and we can film a bit?" He asked with a big grin on his face "Sure!!!" I was so excited to be on his channel

We did a Q and A tag together and were sitting on his bed laying on our backs staring at the ceiling. "Hey Emily?" He asked "Ya?" I responded "How do you know Jerry?" I was waiting for this question the whole time but before I could answer his mom told us to come down and eat dinner

After dinner we went into his yard and sat down on the grass in between two tall willow trees. "So" he said "Oh right, I know Jerry cause he went to my old school and we use to date until we broke up when he cheated on me"

" I'm so sorry about that" he said "It's ok, Jerry hated me the whole time." We were silent for a while when I noticed Luke was staring at me.

"Why are you always staring at me?" I said while blushing, I mean it was cute but I wanted to figure it out. "You are a beautiful girl probably one of the prettiest ones in the school" which made my heart literally melt in my chest.
