"Sara stares at the board. She doesn't know the answer. She wasn't paying attention, and now everyone is staring at her and she's just standing their like some idiot! Focus, Sara! Breathe! Take a step back, and breathe!"
Pobble looks at her best friend "since ever" and puts on a totally manufactured smile.
"Ungh! Is it that bad?!" Leelli groans in response. Pobble sighs and sits beside her on the cyan and lime terrain.
"Maybe it's because there's only one chapter?" She tries. Leelli sighs and leans her back into a squishy botanic mound as she usually did for comfort. The cool, fuzzy texture hugged her as she partially sunk into the plant.
"Maybe I should give up. Maybe I should just write about the history of our people just like every other scribbler out there," Leelli's voice came out slightly muffled as her cheeks were being pressed in.
"Awe, Leel. Come on. You're better than all them. You wanted to do something different! That's awesome, Leel!" Pobble attempted cheering her friend up. This happened often between the two of them. Leelli would write a chapter about a fantastical world and send her friend a feather asking to meet up in their usual spot. Pobble knew where to go, and understood what it usually entailed. She would be reading of some crazy place called Earth. A place her friend Leelli dreams about quite often.
