Third person POV:

Happiness doesn't last long...today is jungkook's mom's death anniversary. He woke up early with the bright light shining on his face...but nothing is bright today for the raven.

10 years ago today...when he lost his mom...the most dreadful day of his life. 13yr old jungkook was happy with his small family...he loved his mom and dad. Lovely duo of Mr. and Mrs. Jeon loved their son...those bambi eyes, bunny smile was the reason of their happy lives. His parents were head over heels for each other, so small jungkook always admired their bond...wanted to have someone like them for himself in future.

December 15 jungkook was playing around in the garden, he loved football. Mrs. Jeon called him so he went inside happily humming a melody. "Come here son...I need to have a talk with u" she said all so lovingly, having the same bunny smile.

"Yes mom" he mirrored the smile making himself sit on the comfy bed infront of her. "Whatever I am going to say from now on just listen....okay?" she asked...jungkook nodded unable to see the emotion behind her alluring smile.

"Ur an amazing son kookie....I will be always prond of u...plz chase ur dreams dear....me and jin ho will always support u...promise me that u will"

"Yes mom I promise u" he giggled making a pinky promise with her.

"Promise me that u will obey ur dad always and be happy"

"I promise mom" he said again chuckling...hugging her afterwards.

"Be a good boy hmm...I love you bun...so much" oblivious kook thought she was saying this just like normally she did. Whenever his dad scolded him and he got angry, somi (his mom) always told him the same words...she said that day.

But he failed to notice that she took a promise for the first time, he failed to notice the termoil of emotions hiding behind her sparkling eyes...he failed to notice that those were the last words he will hear from her.

"Now go continue ur playing" somi dismissed him...patting his back one last time, kissing his forehead.

He ran out of there and started to play again. After one hour or so jungkook walked inside calling his mom. Jin ho as always was busy in his work. No reply came from somi...after calling her almost 4-5 times he strided towards her room...thinking she is alseep.

TW: mention of death/suicide

"Mom-"

He opened the door calling again and there, his whole world crushed down...he ran near the limp body lying helpless on the bed. "MOM" he screamed "MOMMY WAKE UP" tears flowed down his eyes. His mother had took the pills...white foam coming out of her mouth...but too late, he was too late.

He shook her...wanting nothing but to listen her sweet voice again. Jungkook screamed, cried in agony....hugging his mom's lifeless body.

Everything happened so fast that now he was standing in front of his dad....who stood there with a smile, tears building in his eyes but he refused to let go. Jungkook was furious...he grabbed jin ho and yelled at him that why he is smiling...why he is not doing anything and taking her to hospital....he asked if his dad is the reason somi died. And jinho stood there speechless...no words left his mouth, and jungkook punched him.

Punched his own dad whom he loved alot. Still jinho kept silent....jungkook hated him, and hates him till now. The funeral was held the next day...jungkook cried, but he didn't saw a single tear in his father's eyes. After that day he left his home...ran away.

Jin ho after lot of struggle found the boy...jungkook was bruised his condition was worst to be told. He was found working at some place....sleeping in the old abondend building. Jin ho cried that day seeing his son in such condition...raven was admitted to hospital. Jin ho begged him to stay with him...but jungkook refused, but the promise he had given to his mom flooded his mind.

Eventually jungkook agreed but he made a deal....that he will not live in the same house as him, will continue his studies and join sports. At least he agreed, and that was enough for jinho to live in relief.

All these 10yrs, on this date jungkook cried in front of somi's grave....alone. Jinho also visits but raven doesn't allow him to accompany.

Today was different...raven got ready and even before tae woke up he headed to his mom. He cried again...stayed beside her for 2 hrs....and in these hours he failed to notice his father....who was also standing there tears falling from his eyes too.

Jinho never cried for somi in front of his son....coz that's what he promised her. Even if it means jungkook will hate him, he is okay with it...until the promises he did to somi are safe. He was also oblivious of somi's mind that time...when she took her life.....he never knew that he will keep the promises so early than he thought.

"She will not like u crying like this jungkook" jin ho spoke...after wiping the tears in his eyes, as he can't show.

Jungkook's blood red eyes shot up...the bare voice enough for him to fume in anger. He grabbed jin ho's collar....and let out his anger thru the harsh words leaving his mouth...not knowing it caused pain in his dad's heart. But again the elder smiled listening everything in silence. Raven left his grip....bidding a goodbye to his mom and walked away from the place....tears staining his cheeks nonstop....until he stepped inside his car and drove off to his home.

Taehyung is oblivious of the storm coming near him....he is so immersed playing with plushies....thinking about a certain raven. That where did the other go, he was getting bored coz neither the maid was there nor jungkook.
