Old Enemy New Lover

Chapter 2

Draco Pov

I went back to my house that was near my family home but its not a mansion. I go to my office and lay Scorpius on the couch with his blanket and stuff dragon. I go sit at my desk. I think about everything that just happen. 

Why did Potter care about him so much now. But he had done it two times already in our lifes so far.  But why me? he had other men and women to pick him why did he try to firth with me but then again I did like it. But is it a good thing for me to go out with Potter. He would be good to Scorpius and help him out. Plus that also means that Teddy can live with Harry full time then.

But I still do not know. Is this even a good idea to do. I know Scorpius is loney and he is only four years old and he cant go to school because of me and I dont know him going to a muggle school when he wants to learn more about magic. 

A week later

I have not seen Harry or Teddy at the park that we go to and I was starting to get worried. I hope Harry is ok and not over working himself and I hope Teddy is ok too. I bet he missing Harry right now. Scorpius as also started to get winny about wanting to see Harry and Teddy again. I also have missed seeing them and want see if everything was alright so I wrote him a letter. 

Dear Potter

I just want to check up on you and Teddy. I have not seen you at the pack this week and Scorpius is getting sad that he as not seen Teddy this week. I was wondering if we can set up a play date with Teddy and Scorpius. I would also like to see you again. I am free anytime since I work from home and I do not leave much.

I sent the letter with my owl and turn to my paper work. Until there was a knock on my office door. I look up to see my mother holding Scorpius in her arms. She looked at him with a smile on her face. 

"I heard that you two have a new friends," She said walking into the room. 

"I think I do. But I do not know for sure. I mean Potter might still hate me from school," I said looking at her and Scorpius. 

"I think its a good thing. Plus Harry did save you twice and save me. Your father on the other hand did get a lessen sentens," She said looking at me. 

"I have already thought about that mother but I still dont know. I just think its nice that Scorpius as a friend finally," Draco said. 

"I also agree with that but at the same time. You need friends too. I know Blaise and Pansy have moved on from you and had their own lives. But its time for you to do the same," She said putting Scorpius down so he can run around. 

"I know mother but its hard and this is all new to me. I also want for best for Scorpius too and I think is this it," I said picking up Scorpius who run to me and wanted a cuddle. 

"I agree. I have to go now. I have to give your father his potions. Also he been asking about you and Scorp," She said getting up and kissing Scorpius and me on our forehead. 

I stood up with Scorpius watching my mother leave to go home. Then I saw an owl coming our way and I thought it was Potter owl so I put Scorpius down and open my window and watch as red barn owl land on my window. I got the letter from his peck and then I let Scorpius give it a treat. 

I watch the owl flew away and I then sat down at my desk and pull Scorp up on my lap. I open the letter and read it.  As I read it I start to smile as I read more of the letter. 

Dear Malfoy,

I think Teddy will like that. He does not have a lot of friends like Scorpius and them two seem to click together. I only get Teddy when I have days off or on the weekens.  I have a four day weeken coming up and I will owl you when its I get him. I will also see if I can come over some time. I would like to befriend and hope one day be more than friends. I will owl you when I get Teddy next. I think it is this weekend but I do not know for sure.

I was smiling at this. He wanted to be more than friends someday. I felt my heart swell and I felt all warm inside. He wanted me to talk to him about my problems and everything. I felt wanted and loved beside from my parents.

"Daddy why are you smiling with a letter in your hand," Scorp asked knocking me out of my daydream.

"I just got a letter and Harry said he will bring Teddy over soon when he gets him ok," I said looking at Scorp. Scorp was smiling really big and jumped off from my lap. He was jumping up and down and singing.

"Teddy is coming to play. Teddy is coming to play. Daddy as a boyfriend. Daddy as a boyfriend," he sang and jump around. I laughed and smile at what he is saying. My kid is the cutest and funniest person around.

I just wish I never had the choice to join even if it was out of fear and under a spell. I watch my son run around and then run outside. Two of the house-elves came and start playing with them. I  follow him and sit on the porch watching them and daydreaming about Potter being my husband and having Teddy, Scorp, and other little kids running around and playing with each other.
