Camilas pov

The cops soon came and we explained the situation. They took it very seriously and started looking right away.

Lauren and I were freaking out really bad. I mean, who wouldn't if their child went missing?

Both of us were in the police station while they would come in every once in a while and ask more questions if they needed it.

Someone came in, "okay we checked for her phone signal and we have a rough idea where she is," Lauren and I let out a sigh of relief.

"Oh thank god."

"You guys are gonna stay here, while we go," the officer said.

"No. We're going and you can't stop us," Lauren said sternly.

The officer hesitated before sighing. "Okay, but you have to be with a police officer at all times."

We both nodded before standing up and the officer escorted us to one of the squad cars.

We rode in the car for about 30 minutes before we pulled over to a stop. We looked behind us and saw 2 more police cars.

The officer got out of the car, as well as the others, and started looking around. They went in shops, but couldn't see them anywhere. Until they came across an abandoned building.

They lined up and held their guns up before going in. Lauren and I looked at each other before getting out of the car and following them. Lauren grabbed something, but I didn't see what and I was too busy following that I didn't care to ask.

The officer did say stay with one of them at all times.

Both of us remained super quiet, not wanting to get caught. We heard shouting and sped up to see what was happening. We skid to a stop when they saw Regina and the other chick.

The cops were swarmed around her as she held our baby.

"Wait Lauren, we should go back," I said. "This is really dangerous."

Lauren shook her head. "That's our baby in there. I can't just leave him."

"The cops have it handled, let's go," I tried to grab her arm, but she ripped it out of my grasp and stormed forward.

I saw Lauren grab something from her pocket before holding it up. It was a gun. I froze, not being able to move.

There was a loud bang, presumably the gun Lauren had, and then a scream.

"What the fuck!" I heard Regina's voice. I unfroze and saw her on the ground clenching her leg and Milo on the ground crying.

I rushed over to him and scooped him off the ground as Lauren was beating the shit out of Regina.

Some cops were pulling Lauren off of Regina and some were handcuffing Ashley and guiding her out of the abandoned building.

Being in my arms, Milo started to calm down. I soon felt the arms of my wife wrapped around both us and I sighed in content.

We were finally together once again.
