I have a lil' poem
Called Heaven on Hell Street
Many different leaders close to home
That you will meet
Let's start with common views
Say for example
Langston Hughes
James Baldwin
Coretta Scott
Lorraine Hansberry
All of them made boredom, not reading, scary
Yet there is more
Who of not which many know
Yet they too deserve
To Shine, Light Up, and Glow
Aberjhani
Ellen Tarry
Angie Thomas
Nicola Moon
Young authors today
Becoming one of them soon
Writers Come from everywhere
These writers didn't grumble
Race, Gender, or Ethnicity
All writers need to be is Humble
So even though hate's all around
Love still conquers all
Evil so far has been crowned
Yet the Future of Good makes evil fall
Heaven keeps us full of life
Even when Hell gives us strife
There is nothing that Heaven cannot beat
That's why:
HEAVEN is even on HELL STREET
