~Antonio's Gift Ceremony~

As i walked into my house i see Victoria with mom and Alberto. They both turn to me and look at me furious. Why tho? Why were they looking at me like that? 

"Hey-"

"Oh shut up already Y/n! Cant you see we are busy comforting mom right now! She had to give birth all alone while you were partying with your boyfriend and your friends. Gosh your so annoying why cant you be-"

Why

WHY?...What was happening? Why were THEY screaming at me? I should be the one lecturing them about how THEY weren't there for mom...

"What do you mean? Mom..I was with you the whole time..with Sophia and Camilo I-" 

"oh please you haven't been home till now Y/n..how could you think about yourself over your own mother?.." my mother said as tears started to form from her eyes..

I saw she was holding Sophia in her arms who was crying. I don't want the same trauma of everyone screaming at me all day every day for the beginning of her life. I won't let myself cry in front of them impossible.

"Y/n..why would you not help mommy..." said Alberto in a sad voice. That was the last straw for me. I went up to my room. I sat on my bed for a few minutes before getting to work on a present and dress for Antonio.

I wont be telling them i'm going...they wouldn't even notice. I stood up and got what i needed. It was only 4 pm so i had enough times to sew some things before getting ready. I put on my favorite dress and got ready. I thought i looked pretty nice

I then hear the door from downstairs open. It was probably my father. I know i promised the Madrigal's to bring most of my family but...not now.

I open my window and sneak out slowly. I then rush to the Casa Madrigal where i see Luisa and Camilo, he was greeting everyone while she was gathering donkeys. I then approach the house with the best smile i could put on. 

Camilo looked at me in awe before turning into me and doing funny poses.

"Haha wow very funny Chameleon" i said. He always cheered me up even if he didn't know it. I make my way into the house. Casita greeted me as well by pushing me to Mirabel's room to say hi to her too. I see her under her..bed?

I look under and see her cuddling with Antonio. I laugh while a lock falls down to tell us its time to go and see his gift. We then gather around making a line up. I spot Leonardo? uh Leo? I forgot his name but he was there.

He winks at me as i wave my hand to him. Camilo stands next me and holds my hand. I look over to him confused and says.

"Sorry do you mind? i'm kinda nervous for Antonio.." he said looking down at the floor then back to me. 

"No of course not!" I said smiling. Gosh sometimes he was very ridiculous but sometimes he shows that he has a true heart.

We then listen to Abuela's speach about how the miracle founded this place 50 years ago. I look around and spot my family. What were they doing here? Did they find out i left to come here or were they here for Antonio?

I then take my attention to Antonio who reached out his hand and whispered to someone from behind the curtains. I look to see it was Mirabel!

We then all head inside his room. It was very big i must say. everyone then starts dancing together.

"Hey there Y/n(but this time says it wrong)~" I hear a sharp voice behind me as i was dancing with Mirabel. I turn around to see the same guy from earlier.

Abuela then calls in everyone for a family photo as i see Mirabel not going in with them.

"Oh heyyy haha um..dude nice seeing you here." I said trying not to show that i wasn't interested in him.

"Would you like to dance my love~" he said with a smirk like if he won a prise. I look at him then back at Dolores who was apparently looking at me-

" Um well i HAVe to go yeah theres uh family urgence? Bye" I say as i rush past him and run to Dolores. She seemed sad or more disappointed. I look at her confused as i ask.

"Hey Dolores? Everything ok?" I say as she looked around to see if anyone was looking at us.

"U-um well Y/n...You know i can hear everything right?" she said with a shy voice. So she was talking about that, GREAT. As i hear her say these things i hear Mirabel rush in and run to her abuela.

"Casita is in danger! The magic is dying the candle almost went out!" she screaming. Whispers came across the room.

"Show me" says Abuela. Everyone goes outside to check it out but everything seemed normal. As i see that Mirabel started to freak out saying that she wasn't lying. 

After Abuela reassured everyone that the magic was fine everything went back to normal. I look at Dolores and say

"We can talk about this later i'll be back" as i walk away from her to check on Mirabel who was with her mom. I then approach them and Julieta leaves us alone.

"Heyyy Mira..are you alright?" I ask nervous. She looks at me disappointed.

"I know you don't believe me Y/n.. " she said in a sad tone.

"No no no i believe you! I don't think you'd ruin Antonio's gift ceremony..." I say with a smile as i give her hug. She hugs me back.

The party then dies down as everyone starts to exit the house. Julieta gives me some food to take to my mother. Just the thought of my mom scared me now. She was my mother i shouldn't feel that way.

"Of course Julieta!" i say with a smile.

"Oh dear please do call me Tia Julieta" for some reason i hid my tears in my eyes and nodded i waved goodbye to everyone as Dolores looks at me sorrowfully.

"I'll walk you home Y/n!" Camilo said kindly as i hear Pepa laugh in the background.

"O-oh no need to Camilo i'm fine" i say. I wouldn't mind him walking me home but i was to sad to think about how i would be able to not cry on a nearby bench before entering my house.

"None-sense I'll walk you home lets go!" he says grabbing me hand and leading be out the doorway. I was surprised by the action. 

We walked for a few minutes, I had succeeded in holding my tears for most part but then..

"So how is Sophia? And your mom? Oh and i figured out that Sophia is born on the same day as Antonio! We could celebrate there birthdays together- Y/N?! WHY ARE YOU CRYING IM SORRY WAS IT SOMETHING I SAID?" he said so worried.

I just continue to cry while dropping the food that Tia Julieta gave me to bring home. I feel a push into Camilo. He hugged me for a long time as we stood there in the sunset. Me crying like such a baby while he comforted me.

"You wanna tell me why you'r crying mi vida?" he said kindly. I look to meet his green brownish eyes. Gosh I knew i looked like a mess right now.

"Well..my mom probably told the opposite of what happened saying that i wasn't there for her when my little sister was born and i-" he grabbed me back into a hug while i cried hard.

"Alberto believed her too...now the only sibling that never yelled at me would hate me forever Camilo..why when i do something good it always turns into something bad.

"You know..you can always stay with us if you dont feel like staying at your house...just for a while of course!" he said. I looked at him with a smile.

" I'll bring these to the doorstep and then we can go to your house. But what if your abuela won't want me to spend some time at your casa?"

I looked at him worried as a thousand thoughts ran threw my head as i panicked.
