Chapter 2

You opened your eyes to see a town so colorful and happy. Your sister screamed with excitement and jumped off the wagon and started running to play with the other kids.

You stood there but soon enough followed your parents to where you will stay. You blinked and there you were standing once again in darkness you heard laughter and screaming following. "Y/n?... Y/N?!.. HEY Y/N!"

You gasped to see where you where. Right in front of you, your mom was starring at you with worried eyes "Mi vida are you okay?" She asked concerned "I-um y-yea" you replied to your concerned mother "you sure" she was trying to make sure.

"Of course mama." You said "sweetie go take a walk you'll feel better." She knew you were not telling the truth by the look on your face. You nodded and walked away slowly looking at the ground.

"MIRABEL!?" you heard some kids "well..-" another voice cut her off "MIRABEL?! what are you doing" an old lady asked " well they were asking about the family.." she was cut off again "SHE WAS ABOUT TO TELL US ABOUT HER SUPER AWESOME GIFTT!!"

"Oh, Mirabel didn't get one..hm!" All the kids looked at Mira " you didn't get a gift?" One girl asked with a hat "uhm-" Mirabel!, delivery I give you the special since you are the only Madrigal with no gift. I call it the not special special since uh, you have no gift!" The man told Mira "thanks" Mira told him forcing a smile the man kept on going

I waked up the trail the lead to the house -I'm just as special as the rest of my family."

" hey uh do you need help..?" You asked her " yea sure thanks c'mon!" I followed her to the kitchen we're her mom was "hol-oh woah. Mi vida you okay you don't have to over do it..oh and do you have a friend?" She told and asked "oh she asked if I needed help." She replied " oh so you're not friends." Julieta asked.

Mirabel turned and faced me " wanna be frien-" it faded into black laughter and crying once again " do it" a voice said in a whisper. You blinked and said yes . There was a man in a blue suit helping us put stuff that were in the basket on the counter." She's right miraboo don't over do it" we kept putting candy, hats and toys on the counter  "oh ugh..." you looked up" woah.." you said not sure how to react " bee stings" Julieta turned around "Ai dios Agustin" she walked away to make some food to heal him.

She came back "eat, amor if you ever want to talk."Julieta said "if you ever wanna talk" Agustin followed "Remember you have nothing to prove" Julieta continued "just remember you have nothing to prove." Mirabel and I walked away "MMHM!" She gave a thumbs up walking away with me. We went to her room also known as the nursery. But first she put up some small flower like decorations outside each door putting candles in the small cup like thing.

She got up to see the pictures of her siblings, mom, and cousins standing outside their glowing door Maribel sighed " hey it's okay if you don't have a door you're still special!" You tried to cheer her up a sound made Maribel jump and knock over a candle then on the flower decoration making it burn.

"Mirabel.. maybe you should leave the decorations to someone..else? Alma said " and who's this" she looked at you "o-oh that's my friend her name is Y/n" Mirabel replied "oh..well uh be careful." "Mhm" we walked to her room she opened to room slowly " mama please be nice to Mirabel tonight will be hard for her." Julieta told her mom "if tonight doesn't go well it will be hard for all of us.".

She walked in I followed after and closed the door she sat down on her bed and exhaled she went to get a small gift "everyone's looking for you...this present will self distruct if you don't take it in 3...2...1...." a small pair of hands appeared under the bed "Ou" Maribel then crawled under the bed "nervous? You have nothing to worry about. You're gonna open that door and have the coolest gift ever I know it!" She whispered "what if it doesn't work..?" The small kid asked "Well in that INPOSSIBLE scenario you stay in the nursery with me... For everrr" she made a small biting motion with her hand. " I wish you could have a door.." Antonio told her in a quiet voice "well it's fine because I have an amazing family, An amazing house and an amazing you. They hugged the floor bored flapped "alright hombrecito you ready? Antonio nodded "Sorry I gotta get one more squeeze!" The floor borads started making them jump "okay okay!"
