I guess I have seen you

"Remy. Remy Bressett." The two humans standing in front of me turned their head to the door where the source of sound came from.

I struggled a little at first since the door was at the foot side of my bed and my brother was standing in between obstructing the view.

But I finally managed to see the owner of that deep yet calm and vaguely familiar voice.

Dark Auburn, messy haired that somehow still looked hot. White shirt paired with a blue denim jacket and jeans, Remy Bressett stood at the door, closing the door behind him and walking towards me, ignoring the attention my family was giving him.

He walked to stand on the other side of the bed opposite to where the remaining Ginarts were standing.

My head now completely turned away from my family members to the new guy who entered this blue cage of mine.

His:

I was all ready to get thrown away as soon as I would enter her room. But on the contrary she just stared at me with a blank face. I don't know how to feel about that.

"do I know you?" she uttered in total confusion. "I guess I have seen you."

It was my chance.

"I don't know, am I the man of your dreams?" I smirked.

"hah!" she scoffed, rolled her eyes and turned away from me.

"I want you to get better quickly and get out of here." I leaned in a little bit to see her face.

"you don't have to worry about me. I'll be alright." She commented.

"the more you stay here, the more I'll have to pay. You don't take favors, do you?" I mocked at her.

"how do you know that?" I shrugged in response. "anything that can motivate you to get cured faster." I smirked.

The doctor, that by the way hates me now since I have been nagging him since last 6 days when she was admitted here, entered. With a file in his hand and a nurse coming behind him in the room. He stood next to me and opened the file which I tried to take a peep at. Obviously I did not understand shit.

"most of your test results are fairly better, although you still have mild anemia, I'm sure your diet will take care of it." The doctor flipped through the pages of the file and talked to the patient lying before us.

"does that mean I can eat now?" Xael seemed more concerned and excited about food than her reports and this made me chuckle.

My titter came a little too loud and turn the faces at me. she narrowed her eyes at me. 'what' she mouthed .

I bit my tongue, controlling myself to laugh ahead as I nodded my head in 'no'.

The doctor ignored me, as he had learnt how to, this week, and went ahead.

"we are still waiting for a couple of more tests. Definitely they won't be normal, but if they are comparatively better than they were when you were admitted, we shall move ahead positively, and you might get discharged in next few weeks" She sighed and I don't know for what exactly. It shall be about everything.

She nodded in response to her professional care taker.

"what about her legs?" her mother appeared unsettled as she questioned the doctor.

"as long as she is here, we can start her rehabilitation, with the help of the therapist that we have here in the hospital. But once she is discharged you'll will have to get your own therapist or maybe you can visit the hospital daily on appointment basis if that works well with you." The doctor was all set to leave, showing how he cannot attend one patient for a long time.

"I'll get connected to the physiotherapist and let you know when we can start." I spoke to the Ginart family. Cree nodded in approval while the ladies looked unclear about it.

"we have to do it anyway. Let's get it done when it still has a scope of improvement." I tried persuading them.

Xael sighed and at this point I was really starting to get mad.

"can you please stop that?" Cree spoke before I could. "he is trying to help."

 She remained expressionless.

"I know what she is thinking." The older lady looked up to me. "there is no way we could repay you such large sums of money. That is the reason why we are hesitant." She looked away from me to her hands.

Why is everything so dramatic.

"well, if you really want to do something for me, there is one thing that you can." I said to make all the 3 heads turn to my direction.

"I am looking for a place to stay. Can you let me in as your paying guest." The senior woman smiled at me her facing easing out as she found something she could do in order to repay my kindness.

They clearly have no idea why I am doing this.

Cree immediately nodded in approval looking between all of us while the patient just sighed another time, looked at me and rolled her eyes.

I would definitely punish her if it weren't for her unacceptable health.

"why are you behaving like this?" Cree started reproaching her while I started moving back to sit on the couch that lied at the corner of the room. I had been standing since a long time. There were few newspapers lying on the table which was positioned ahead of the light blue couch.

I picked one and started reading through it, crossing my legs and hiding my face with the paper in an attempt to offer the family members a private time.

I could have left the room but I wanted to stay close to her.
