Ringing was heard from the front door before a loud knocking was followed after. Jake flinched at the sudden sound unaware who was outside his home. Michael stayed indifferent like usual not making any sudden movements or even blinked. It was like he was in a trance not fulling in reality, as if he was in a world of his own. Calming down his already racing heart Jake got up from his seat walking towards the front door.
As he got their he was bombarded by his parents who began asking questions. Asking him if he was doing well in his studies with Michael. In which he merely just nods smiling at them trying not to cause any type of meaningless awkward tension. He just agrees with what his parents say not putting his full opinion out there. To afraid that they will force something else onto him as they normally do when he takes a disinterest in anything they think will help him.
Michael came downstairs greeting the family before going back up and packing his things, getting ready to leave the Parks home. Not really wanting to intervien with their family time. Once done he made sure to leave a note on Jakes desk before leaving the house without anyone noticing that he had left the house before they had gotten the chance to talk to him.
