and not afraid to care

Henry Emily shifted in place as the soft whirring filled his ears. He knew it couldn't be heard by anyone alse, his paranoia just wanted to give him a heart attack apparently with the way it sped up his heartbeat, and yet he couldn't quite calm himself down, not with William's gray gaze piercing him to the core. Before him there was a table with three chairs currently occupied, one of them being exactly Afton - god damn him for his amused smirk - and in the rest sat two potential founders for their animatronic franchise.

For now, William sat with his chin resting on his fist, the man's frame nonchalant, like a propchecy of a disaster. Henry just prayed his boyfriend wouldn't get some stupid ideas while him, as the main inventor of the technology, presented their ideas. Because, quite literally, the destiny of their enterprise was in William's hands in a form of a tiny remote.

"So, as I was saying before, gentlemen, I am terribly sorry for the fact we had to hold this meeting in my own office, we - me and mr. Afton, I mean - are quite short on funds, as you know, and we haven't yet invested in a meeting room" he started, walking up to the board with some of the necessary materials for his speech. One of the men nodded, lips twitching in a gentle shadow of a smile.

"That's perfectly understandable, mr. Emily, we're happy we could make this happen at all" he said, voice soft and smooth, as if he treated Henry like a spooked animal - and maybe his anxiety was apparent, but they did not need to acknowledge it this way! "If you could start by showcasing us your idea-"

"Of course!" he scrambled, and William scoffed in amusement right next to him, or rather from the place he sat at. Henry looked at him, brows furrowed and entire expression screaming don't make me fuck this up, and then he grabbed a pointer, standing next to the board.

"Our idea centers around highly developed animatronics with an advanced AI built into them as the main entertainment in our establishments, let it be restaurants or pizzerias, or even just club-like places" Henry tapped the tip of the pointer on some of the sketches and blueprints of animatronics - there was a head model there, a T-posing body sketched out messily with some notes made next to it in a writing far too elegant to be his own. "Mostly, the projects of the animatronics are done, complete with technical stuff such as the designs of their own customized endoskeletons-"

A click.

Normally, Henry would've thought someone was just fiddling with their pen, but no, it was nothing like that. William's smile was far too proud for it to be such a trivial thing.

The vibrator that was stuffed inside Henry started moving differently, a bit harder. Just a tad more than it was before, but the feeling still made him choke on air and stutter right in the middle of his presentation. Smug bastard, he thought, fingers squeezing the handle of the pointer.

"Ekhm, apologies" Henry shot an angry gaze in the direction of Afton, hoping he would take the hint, and the motherfucker grinned at him in a manner that without the context would just look like normal, assuring smile for his partner. Oh, how different it was. "Continuing the thought, we have invented a system that could revolutionise the industry of animatronic making, and it is called the springlocks" he paused to lay emphasis on the word, a beat of silence and looking at the businessmen with a delicate smile on his face - a simple little body languague trick, and a great way to present.

Emily blinked, and he continued.

"You might be wondering what that technology exactly is and how does it work - it's actually quite simple. The springlocks make the suit accesible for a person to enter it, as well as for it to be a fully functional animatronic! They work by pulling the endoskeleton back, making place for a human to get inside. It's really quite smart, I'd say myself"
