"Today's Saturday...and you're feeling so down... this is not you, what's wrong, Tracy?"My brother asked me as I sat on the couch.
"I hate Tyrell"
"Why? He's such a nice guy"My brother said and I scoffed.
"There was this dog in my school...I helped him take a bath...Mr.Murray had already called the animal control management and Tyrell led them to Mill and I...if he was really nice...he would have stopped them from taking Mill away... he's a monster in an innocent guy's skin"
"Don't say that...he probably didn't want you to get into trouble"Toby said and I rolled my eyes.
"I really don't care"
"What if you had gotten into trouble?"He asked.
"Then I'll just free myself out of the trouble"I said.
"Life doesn't work that way... it's better to prevent risks than to take them"Toby said and I sighed."Promise me that you'll take this out of your mind"He said and I sighed.
"I promise"I said.
"Come on, let's go have noodles"
"Deal"I said and got off couch.
***
"I know of a place where they sell noodles"He said.
"Okay"I smiled.
"Look over there"Toby said pointing.
"Where?"I asked.
"Tyrell!"Toby called.
Him? I'm still mad at him!
Wait...I promised Toby that I'll take it out of my mind.
"Hi,Toby"Tyrell greeted as he approached us.
"I was gonna have noodles with Tracy,do you mind taking her to the restaurant instead?"Toby asked and my eye widened.
"Sure"Tyrell answered.
Take me to the restaurant?
"I want you to take me"I said to Toby with a frown on my face.
"I really need to take a rest... besides, Tyrell's here...I don't need to take you anymore"He said and I looked at me.
This is unbelievable.
Why does Tyrell have to ruin all my plans?
"Bye, Tracy, have fun"Toby said and walked back home.
I was left with Tyrell.
I just rolled my eyes and walked past him.
"Do you know where you're going?"He asked but I didn't reply.
This is so annoying.
***
"I'll be going now"He said as we came out of the restaurant and he left.
I think he's hiding something.
Maybe I should follow him.
***
He stopped in front of a house and went inside the house.
He's definitely hiding something.
I walked towards the house and I heard someone's voice.I turned around and saw an old woman in front of me...she was holding a stick.I swallowed the lump in my throat and greeted her.
She glared at me and hit me with the stick.
"Ouch, ouch"I said as I ran away but the old woman continued to chase me...and she was really fast.
She continued to hit me with the stick and I suddenly lost it.I grabbed the stick from her and glared at her.
"You spoilt child, give that stick back"She said.
"Why should I give you?You keep hitting me with the stick"I said and she hit my shoulder and then my back.I winced in pain as she continued to hit me.
"Stop it... don't let me get angry... I'm just trying to respect you"I said as I tried to get away from her.She grabbed the stick from me and hit me with it.
"Grandma, stop it"I heard someone say and the old woman stopped beating me.I looked up and saw Tyrell.
I looked at the old woman and then at Tyrell.I repeated this until I finally came to my senses.
"Grandma!"I exclaimed.
***
Tyrell's POV
"Why did you do that, Grandma?"I asked and she frowned.
"She bullied me"Grandma replied pointing at Tracy.
"What? Bullied you? Your grandma doesn't know what she's saying and-"
"You're so spoilt".
"See?"I asked Tyrell.
"How did you find me here?"He asked.
"I followed you"I answered.
"Why?"He asked.
"I thought you were hiding something"I replied and he sighed.
"She's such a bully"Grandma cried.
No, really,those were real tears.
I almost felt like hitting her but I couldn't.
She's faking it.
"I'm really sorry, Grandma"Tyrell apologised.
"It's okay,my grandchild...but your wife is totally crazy, she's so irresponsible"Tyrell's grandma said.
Wife?
"She's-"
"Enough, Tracy!"Tyrell exclaimed and I scoffed.
"Apologise to Grandma"He said and I looked at him and then at his grandma.
"I'm sorry"I said with a smile.
A fake smile.
"It's okay,my child...you have to respect elders next time"She said and I nodded sarcastically.
Crazy old woman.
I still don't like her.
My back still hurts.
"Tyrell,I need to speak with your dad...is he back now?"
"No, grandma... he's still in New York"Tyrell replied and grandma sighed.
"I have to go now, grandma"Tyrell said and I looked at him."Let's go"He said to me and I stood up.
"Bye, grandma"I said with a fake smile.
"Bye"She replied and I ran out of the house.
I'm so relieved.
That woman is so crazy.
"Don't mind what happened earlier"
"Of course,I would"
"My grandma's suffering from amnesia... and I feels like it's gets worse everyday...she sometimes behave normal and fine and sometimes the things she does are out of this world...so that's why you shouldn't mind her behavior... she's always like that to strangers... just endure the-"
"Endure? I'm never seeing her again"I said and walked faster.
Like I care?
