"Okay! Let's enjoy this! Put your blindfold on!" vilanteo said excitedly as they climbed in vilanteo's truck. The two boys talked while vilanteo had one hand on the steering wheel, one hand on hinlo's thigh. He had blushed quite a bit.
They continued the conversation until vilanteo said they had arrived. Vilanteo had him put on noise canceling headphones, so all hinlo had was the trust of vilanteo. Vilanteo led him carefully and after what felt like forever, the noise canceling headphones came off.
Hinlo gasped. The sounds of waves crashing, seagulls squawking. They filled his ears.
Hinlo ripped the blindfold off and saw an empty beach, with just vilanteo and hinlo. Vilanteo had set up a blanket and umbrella.
"Thank you!'' Hinlo yelled, jumping up to hook his arms around vilanteo's neck. Vilanteo spun him around, then took his own shirt off. He was in swimming trunks. Hinlo's face paled. "I didn't bring..." hinlo trailed off. Vilanteo used. The one thing he needed to tell him.
"It's alright, just swim in your shorts." vilanteo said. Hinlo shrugged, taking his own shirt off. After they were both in their shorts, The two rushed into the water, swimming for quite a while. They splashed one another and even took each other down in the water. They were smiling so brightly that their cheeks hurt. Thankfully, Hinlo had taken off his glasses and he didn't lose them.
They were back on the blanket, in each other's arms, laying down.
"You're so pretty." vilanteo smiled. Hinlo blushed wildly. "Where's this coming from?" hinlo asked. Vilanteo shrugged. "You're just so pretty my heart hurts." vilanteo muttered, pulling him in closer
"I wanna shower you with compliments because you deserve it." vilanteo mumbled, incredibly tired. Hinlo smiled, gigging quietly. He traced the scars on vilanteo's chest. "Then, go on." Hinlo smiled. Vilanteo smiled back.
"You're so smart. So talented, an amazing figure skater, an even better date, and that's saying something." vilanteo laughed, making Hinlo giggle. "You can light up my life whenever I'm around you. You make my life worth living." vilanteo whispered, hugging him tightly. Hinlo hugged him back, resting his face in the crook of vilanteo's neck.
"I'm glad, vilo~.i'm so glad I met somebody like you." he smiled. Vilanteo flushed at the nickname. Hinlo smiled, and straddled him as vilanteo laid down.
"Villoooo~ vilo vilo vilo~" hinlo teased. Vilanteo covered his face and blushed so much he turned red. Hinlo giggled, laughing so hard, he almost fell off of vilanteo. This caused the two to laugh harder, so hard their sides hurt.
After a while, they calmed down enough to actually think correctly. The two were holding hands, looking at one another. "What are you thinking about?" vilanteo whispered. Hinlo smiled. "My answer for tomorrow, and how you've treated me like a god." hinlo giggled. Vilanteo smiled brightly, wanting to kiss him badly. So badly it hurt.
"I'm thinking about quitting the baseball team." vilanteo whispered. Hinlo's eyes widened and he sat up, vilanteo following. "W-what?! Why? Baseball is one of the only things you love!" hinlo yelled. Vilanteo smiled.
"Listen, hinlo. I-its just going to be too expensive. If I'm going to get my own place, pay for my equipment, school fees, grocery fees, and go places with you, the one thing I can scratch off the list is my equipment." vilanteo explained in a calm and soothing tone.
It hurt vilanteo just to think about it. He didn't want to leave his friends behind. All of the good times they had with one another. Vilanteo wanted to cry, but he's been such a crybaby lately, that he scolded himself and told him not to.
"I told you, we will figure this out together. Even if i have to tell my parents, you will be helped, and you won't have to worry about anything financial.'' Hinlo demanded. Vilanteo smiled softly and rested his head on the boy's shoulder. He decided to change the conversation to get away from the mood.
"I can't wait for tomorrow! Your competition! Oh god, i get to see you compete." vilanteo sighed happily. Hinlo smiled and hugged vilanteo tightly. "I really hope I win something so you don't waste your time." hinlo giggled. Vilanteo huffed, hugging Hinlo and burying his face in hinlo's neck.
"I'll be proud of you no matter if you come first or last. I wouldn't last two seconds on those." vilanteo smiled at the boy. Hinlo smiled back at vilanteo and felt the strange urge to kiss him.
"Hey, lets go get washed off, then go home." vilanteo smiled. Hinlo nodded excitedly and they ran into the waves for the last time. Vilanteo was the only one with slides, so he picked hinlo up bridal style. Hinlo blushed into vilnateo's bare chest.
Vilanteo plopped him in the backseat and hinlo smiled at vilanteo. Vilanteo cleaned up, abs glistening. Hinlo looked at him and decided. He knew his answer.
"Villoo~" hinlo whispered in vilanteo's ear as he climbed in the seat. Vilanteo was sweating and his eyes wide. He was so happy hinlo was comfortable around him, but then again, it was very very risky while they were in the car.
They drove the way back, vilanteo reassuring Hinlo that the competition would end well.
Hinlo started freaking out though. His parents were home and he was soaked to the bone in sandy shorts. Vilanteo decided to text allen.
Went to the beach, need you to bring an extra change of clothes
Then they waited. But instead of Allen walking out, his father did. "Hide under the towels." vilo demanded. Hinlo nodded and vilanteo made sure everything was all right before stepping out of his truck.
"Hello sir, i'm terribly sorry for my attire, but i was just at the beach and decided to see if hinlo was home before i made any plans." vilanteo said confidently, lies slipping off of his tongue. Mr.calen smiled.
"Ah, you're fine vilanteo! And i haven't seen hinlo, i think he could be at the library. You are a respectable young man, so I trust you with my son." Mr.Caleb said. Vilanteo nodded, thanking the man. He got in his truck to leave, but allen came rushing out, mumbling something about leaving a notebook.
"Here's the stuff you forgot! There's some stuff in there for hinlo as well, since you're going to meet up with him." allen said, giving a plastic bag to vilanteo. Vilanteo thanked him and threw it in the back seat towards hinlo. Then, vilanteo drove away without another word.
"I'll stop in the back of a parking lot and then you can change in the car, don't worry, i'll stand outside." vilanteo smiled at hinlo in the rear view mirror. Hinlo thanked him in a whisper, still shaken up. Vilanteo smiled, reaching back to hold his hand.
"I told you, I won't let them know."
