The hallways of liberty high school were...interesting, to say the least. The walls were packed full of bright yellow lockers beautifully decorated with phallus drawings and "original well thought out" insults recorded on with a thick-tipped black marker. It was always this moment that was the worst, when he walks down the halls looking pathetically alone and exposed to the school with no one to help him, head bowed and his hands clenched around the backpack.

Thankfully, a familiar snap of a camera went off behind him followed by a 'Hey, Peter'. He turned around and smiled as he saw his best friend of 6 year, Antionette Topaz. Antionette, or more commonly known as Toni, was one of Peter's most beloved friends. She was the coolest girl in school in Peter's eyes...unfortunately everyone else thought she was a freak but it was okay because that's how everyone else saw Peter too. She was the one of two people who was just as interested and passionate in art as him. His Pops was the other but Peter thinks including his parents as part of his friend group will come across to make him even sadder. Toni loved to take pictures and was adding them to some sort of project she had going on that got her to take pictures of everyone in random situations.

'hey ' he replied with a no longer forced smile 'how was your weekend'

'Fucking terrible, my cousins came to visit, it was like i was living in a bloody zoo' she grabbed his arm and continued to walk down the hall to the half an hour torture sessions (assembly). Entering the hall, Peter spots the Liberty high football team. Most of them fit the stereotypes of being dumb annoying self-obssessed asshole who's idea of fun is to torment those who are "weaker" a.k.a Adam Groff . However there are some footballers who Peter likes and happens to be walking in his direction now.

'Morning' he glanced at Peter and Toni with his signature smile 'just wanted to let you know there's a party at mine tomorrow night, could be great if you guys came' he gestured to us. For a moment I thought it was a joke so I laughed, maybe a little too loudly.

'We'll see, thank you for the invite' Toni replied while giving Peter a side scowl caused by his social awkwardness.

She guided him to the chairs and sat down where they joined another friend, Maeve Wiley . Maeve scared Peter a little but she seemed nice. They bonded over classical books and exchanged modern views on historical figures and how they impacted the current world. He gave her a small smile and turned his attention to Headmistress Michael giving the opening for the assembly and welcome to the school choir. If the FBI ever needed more ideas to get people to release secrets in interrogations they should just video our school choir and let it play. A bunch of drama kids want to make it in the music industry but are too filled by arrogance and fake compliments to realise that actually they make people want to cut their ears off. Headmistress Michael walked grumpily onto the stage to read out the notices for the day. He always felt like headmistress Michael got him. She is always miserable to be here and never wants anything to do with anyone in the school.

He had English now, with Miss Sands, he liked English although he didn't like where he was sitting. He is sat next to Marcus Lopez , it's nothing to do with Marcus, it's Petr who's the problem. You see, Marcus is one of the most attractive smartest badass people Peter knows... and he knows Maeve Wiley and Michelle Jones . He is only a little far off Peter in science and he manages to be a football star and he does language speaking tests like they're easy...they are not. Also a little awkward because Marcus was Peter's realisation that he was gay (even though han solo was a pretty big sign too), so he has a little trouble functioning like a human who is cool and sane, when around him.

Maths with Mr Nelson was next which isn't a lot easier because he has to sit in between his cousin, Lila (cheer captain) and his Toni (cheer hater). These lessons usually consist of snarky comments and sarcastic conversations that lead to awkward silences. When Toni left to go to the bathroom (sit in the cubicle on her phone for 10 minutes), Lila turned to him 'c'mon Pete, you have to admit she's a bit of a bitch'. Peter responded with an easily readable look on his face that made Lila be quiet about it. He wished they would get along and it would make lunch a lot easier. Speaking of Lunch, the bell had just rung symbolising the release for an hour.Peter let out a puff of air he didn't realise he had been holding in and made his way to his locker while reminding himself, "only 3 hours left until the end".
