Looking through her long eyelashes...
She was mesmerized by the view infront of her... she felt calm and peace ..When the whirling wave crashed the shore...
She witnessed the sun drowing in the love of unceased ocean...
It all seems unreal to her...
Heaving a sigh ..she got up and started to dust off sand from her clothes...with her flats dangling in her hand...she started her journey back towards the beach house ...she opened the door and witnessed a mess in the living room...
Toys were scattered across the room vase was on the edge of the table...she sighed and moved towards to the kitchen From where source of sound was heard...as soon she entered ...she was backed by a huge force..
"Baby...you missed mumma" the huge Golden retriever started licking her face..she engulfed him and nuzzled her face in his soft golden fur...she felt ..Peaceful..happy ..
" Emily .... you are back from the walk"
Emily got startled by the voice...
" Omg..Erin you scared me "
" O ..come on we are the only ones here"
Stated the other.. ".whatever btw..I thought you were busy" she asked raising her brows ...Erin chuckled..and stood infront of her ..hands stuffed in her sweat pants pockets .." I am ...came for the snacks"
She nodded and moved towards the exit..when a hand stopped her " are you still angry ??" Asked Erin... " No..m not" ...
"Ohh..you definitely are..you are ignoring eye contact"...
"Yes..I am..so what...I never interrupted you when you are busy doing your work ..and just asked you for a walk with me..you would have felt good and fresh...but why would you listen to me " Emily said in one blow and turned her back towards him and started munching on cookies kept on the counter..trying to soothe down her anger ... *yeah like many of us ..eating helps her in reducing her anger...why not foodies are everywhere😉*
She flinched when two big hands wrapped around her waist...
" Em ...I am sorry..i know you wanted to help me relax and stress-free ..but..I had to finish the work ASAP..now just the editing is left.." he apologized and turned her towards him ..he smiled softly looking at her angry puffy face..smeared with cookie crumbs around her pouty lips..." okk ..to make up with you ..the dinner is on me...I will prepare all your fav dishes and we will eat together in the balcony ..what do you say " he asked raising his brows in anticipation..there was a long silence of 30 seconds when she smiled and nodded her head vigrously like a child and said.." my fav minty drink will be included too.."..Erin nodded and leaned his face towards her..they stared into each other eyes..adoring each other ...his hands wrapped around her waist securing her in his warmth..their breaths fanning each other's lips..Erin leaned forward and attached his lips near the corner of her lips and swiped his tounge on her lips...she was lost in his eyes...not breaking eye contact he kissed her slow and passionate .. indulgence was from both sides...after a long kiss ..he pulled back slowly , cupping her cheeks with his warm hands ..he gave a peck on her forhead..."why do you do this to me..huh??"
He whispered in her ear sending tingles
Down her spine... goosebumps all over her body.. " d-do what " she asked stuttering ...he chuckled softly and pecked her lips.."you make me fall all over you again, again and again....you are understanding , kind, a softie, adorable and..."He paused ..
"and" she asked with curiosity and love in her eyes " and ..sometimes bitchy"...
"Heyyy...you are sooo meanyy...m not talking to you ..go away ..shoo shoo" she said while dismissing him with her hands..while he was laughing heartily
" Hey..m kidding ..whatever you are bossy..softie.. understanding...I love as YOU...you are mine" ...
"And you are mine " she said while giggling and pulled him toward her by the collar and collided her lips with him...they were so engrossed in tasting each other lips..but a thud followed by a shattering sound parted them away..they looked at each other and towards the kitchen exit simultaneously...Emily ran past Erin ..towards the exit followed by him...
Emily was stunned so was Erin...they both stood together and watched the whole mess created by none other than
Their baby "Goldie"...a fun dog part of their family...they named him Goldie...firstly because he was a golden retriever with the golden fur ...secondly ..the fur colour illuminated 10 times more under the sun when he ran across the beach like a bubbly kid that he was ..
Now ..back to the mess...😉
Emily sighed again while groaning like 100th time "Goldie...why you always make mumma angry..huh...." Goldie was now silently sitting near Emily's leg wagging his tail..giving best puppy eyes he could
"Okk...if you were not soo cute ...I would have given you punishment for a week..but now no extra treats for a day" she finished and patted his head...while he sulked..
Erin ..who was silently watching the scene unfold had a soft smile tugging his lips...he wrapped his hand around her shoulder , pulling her close and put his head on her shoulder " you guys are damn cute ..." He said snuggling his head in her neck while patting Goldie with his other hand...they were all enjoying their little family moment ...when Emily's stomach grumbled with hunger...the latter chuckled "my baby is hungry ...let me get to work" Erin said while removing his hand "oh-hkk...y-you go...I will clean the mess" she said stuttering with embarrassment written all over Her red face ...she was shy shy afterall...she pecked his cheeks and ran towards the broken vase ..and started cleaning the chaos ...while Erin was grinning like an idiot seeing her WIFE still shy after all these years ..he shook his head and entered kitchen to make a delicious supper for her wifey...with Goldie tailing behind him for his treat ...
