I glanced up at him, and tried to rub his cheek but his hands pushed me away. He turned away, full of shame.
"why are you doing this? why are you not letting me love you?" i whispered
He turned around, his eyes like rocks, dark and emotionless.
"im terrified of the way you make me feel jade." he pleaded, looking down at his feet and clenching his jaw.
My heart expanded into a million pieces and i sighed with relief.
"i thought you hated me" i said, observing him, he looked so calm.
"i could never feel anything for you but love, but i dont want to love you" he groaned, his hands rubbing his head.
"why not?" i prodded, my eyes still on him.
"because its so easy to love you, you make it feel natural." he walked towards me and cupped my cheek "and sometimes i cant help BUT love you, a tiny bit" he smirked as he said the last part.
I let my self lean into him and chuckled, he pulled me back and looked into my eyes, searching for something.
"Can I kiss you?" he whispered, his eyes full of hope. I nodded, he leaned in
