"Morning, L/N-kun" Hayasaka greeted me in her usual cutesy voice.

"Drop it, Hayasaka" I say as I put my shoes in the locker.Im still on my guard as to why she said that.

She just goes silent and goes to see her friends.

"Ai-chan , wanna go  karaoke later?"one of the girls asked

"Sorry girls, I have something to do later" she said as she played with her fingers

"Awwww, you alwaysss have something to doo"the other girl complained

"So sorry guyss" Hayasaka seemed in distress but when the girls started walking again her face returned neutral.

She was about to go follow her friends when I pull her hand.

"Will you please stop doing that"

"Wh-what?!?"Hayasaka exclaimed

"Stop lying"

Hayasaka's calm, neutral face returned and she removed my hand from her wrist.

"It's really not because I want to, it's because *they* want to"

"What?"

"You wouldn't understand L/N-kun, it's simply a duty for me"

"I can't tell you" she said in a weakening voice.

"L/N, we're gonna be late for class" her mood changed instantly back to gyaru mode.

That's right. This is all part of my duty to Kaguya-sama.

On our way to our classroom, I pass by a troublesome person.

I could pretend L/N is my boyfriend and just leave but..

"L/N, go ahead to the classroom"

I nod to him to assure him I meant what I said.

He seemed unsure but he went ahead.

"Ai-chan, wanna hang out by the court sometime?"

I could've broken his wrist and fingers right there but having this reported to the school will just trouble Kaguya-sama.
