(A week later)
Liv and Luke were video chatting on the phones talking about the action from last week.
Liv: I saw you in Japan Lukey, you really made Vince mad
Luke chuckled and smirked.
Luke: and also getting into his head mentally, and also you and Cesaro did an excellent job, now that was a clean pinfall on Becky
Liv: where are you now?
Luke: I'm down at Florida, gonna make a visit to a certain company that has the media abuzz
Liv: oooh, what company is that?
Luke: well you may have to watch to find out, however I can only give you the name of the show
Liv: give it to me
Luke: Rampage
Liv was stumped as she had no answers.
Liv: well whatever that company is, I'm excited to watch you babe and I can't wait for you to be here with me, so I can kiss you
Luke: aww, I can't wait
Liv: have fun Lukey
The Jersey native blew a kiss at the screen and the Nomad did the same before they hanged up. As for Liv, she got ready for SmackDown tonight, feeling a lot of momentum going into her tables, ladders and chairs match against Becky.
(Inside the arena)
Vince was on a phone call with the WWE president, Nick Khan.
Vince: did you send the negotiation to Luke?
Nick: he could've gotten it by now, sir
Vince: hmm, okay, well come to the arena later because he may be coming, so he will sign it in front of us
Nick: yes sir, I'll be there soon
(Meanwhile, with Luke)
Luke arrived at an arena called Daily's Place, the home of one of WWE's rising competitors, All Elite Wrestling (AEW). Inside, Luke met with some of the AEW staff, coaches and talent ranging from the likes of the Dark Order, Tay Conti, Anna Jay, Sammy Guevara, AEW Women's Champion Dr. Britt Baker, TNT Champion Cody Rhodes and AEW World Champion Hangman Page.
However, the man Luke wanted to see was the big boss himself, Tony Khan. He found the true Khan talking with some of the staff.
Luke: Mr. Khan
Tony: Luke Ardiente, a pleasure to meet you. I may be the Forbidden Door, but you just kicked the damn thing down
Luke: I did it over at Japan
Tony: and I see you want to open the door here in AEW
Luke: that is if you're on board to piss my boss off
Tony: hey, the crowd will love this, so let's get started
Luke: perfect, and oh I got this negotiation contract from the one you called False Khan
The Nomad took out the paper and showed it to Tony.
Tony: this contract states that you are given a raise of $100,000 if you show up to the show tonight
Luke: a good offer, but I want to get in McMahon's head, sir
Tony: I got an idea, I will print out the exact same negotiation, but this offer will have an extra zero with your name on it
Luke: it's a deal sir
Tony: call me Tony, and if you want to play mind games, bring your hardware out
