Chapter 16

Ryan’s pov

I miss Elena so much. I feel so empty when she’s not with me but now I feel worse guarding the fact that I have to get married to Bethany who is nothing but a psycho to me.

I’m the next to the throne after Dion rejected dad’s offer to be the next mafia boss saying he wants to live a normal life like he’s gonna achieve that after killing so many innocent people. like expected dad asked me to take over the throne and me knowing I was already an Italian mafia boss. I refused but he just had to bring Elena into our discussion leaving me with no choice. Bethany has been so wild since she got rejected by Richard who later travelled to the states go further his study, on criminology though.  

Talking about Elena, I was going to give her an evening visit today. My eyes flew to the gold wristwatch on my hand only to realize it was time. The time was exactly 8:00pm.

Without wasting anytime I got into the bathroom and after having a fresh bath, I headed straight for my closet picking out a black suit piece, a matching shoe and a dark glass.

Stepping out of my mansion, I exhaled a sharp breath. It was finally time to see how my family was doing. I got into my black Bugatti car and sped out of my compound into the busy road.

The gate of the mansion opened as I drove in drifting round a waterfall that was in the middle of the big compound. The lights to the huge building were turned on making it easier for me to have a better view of the mansion. It was cool.

I walked towards the front door badging into the living room only to meet jimmy, Elena’s dad.

“knock knock” I said with a smirk plastered on my face. Jimmy been the silent devil dad knew him to be just smil8ed.
“dad said hi” I smiled as jimmy’s face went cold, the smile on his face was completely wiped out.

“I guessed Carson failed to tell u the dangers of entering into a rival’s mafia mansion” he finally stated putting his hands at his back.

“why are you here?” he finally asked as the smile on my face grew wide.

“I’m here for my daughter, nothing more than that old man” I assured him and I really meant that, just that I was also here for Elena.

He gave me a hand gesture telling me where to find her. I saluted him playfully before finding my ways upstairs. The moment I got to the front of her door, I knocked like the gentleman I was.

In less than a second, I was surrounded by bodyguards making me chuckle. The door to Elena’s room opened making all of us take our eyes towards her and I must say she was smoking hot?!!?!

She was wearing a lingerie that I gave her and that brought a smirk to my face. Like as if realizing what was happening she gave a reassuring smile to the guards who were glaring at me and dragged me inside her room closing the door behind her.

She turned around backing me as she raked her right hand through her hair like she was worried about something, I placed my hands on her shoulders turning her around to face me.

“I’ve missed you”
