Chapter 4: Mother

Airachnid was heading off, and she landed on some ice. She detected something in the ice, and wiped off the snow. She looked in, and saw a white cloak with a hook. She even saw some life readings. She unthawed the woman, and got a good look at her. Airachnid got a devious idea.

Ruby was helping Weiss and Blake with a conspiracy website. "Okay, it's here somewhere....... there!" said Ruby. "Oh boy," said Blake. "Wait, is that Bumblebee?" asked Ratchet. "On a conspiracy website," said Weiss, "But is just delete the picture, and replace it with....." The picture was a cat in a jump suit and a silly propeller beanie, and it said, "Commander says, take me to your feeder!" Ratchet then laughed at the picture. "Ratchet actually laughed?" asked Blake. "Do you think Optimus would laugh at that?" asked Ruby. "I don't know," said Weiss, "He's pretty serious."

Just then, Bulkhead and Arcee came in, with worried expressions on their faces. "We got a major problem!!" said Bulkhead. He then inserted a chip into the computer, and it played a video.

"Hello," said Airachnid, "I wish to make a switch. See, Megatron not only wants to rule this planet, he wants to destroy the little girl who defeated him." "Megatron?" asked Ratchet, "But, he's supposed to be dead!!" "Basically, I will trade Little Red, for her mother." Airachnid then showed a sleeping woman wrapped in a cocoon that looked like an older version of Ruby. "It can't be," said Yang. "Mom," whispered Ruby. "Meet me at Vale Docks. We will have fun." The video ended, and everyone was conflicted. "This isn't good," said Yang, "She's got mom!" "We have to do something!" said Weiss. "That we will," said Optimus, "Bumblebee, Bulkhead, you're with me to rescue Mrs. Rose." "What about me!?" asked Arcee. "I'm sorry Arcee," said Optimus, "but your anger will distract you from the smallest things. You will be so focused on Airachnid, you may not notice anything else around you." "Okay, we'll stay here," said Blake. "Hey, where's Ruby?" asked Yang. She then got a text, and read it out loud.

Sorry sis, I transferred money so you can buy a new bike. I need to do this alone. I love you.

"SHE'S GOING THERE NOW!!!" said Ratchet. "Autobots!! Roll out!!!" They then transformed, and raced off.

Ruby, meanwhile, arrived at Vale Docks at night, and she looked around. She pulled out Crescent Rose, and walked slowly through the docks. "OKAY AIRACHNID!!!" she said, "I'M HERE!!! LET HER GO!!" She then stepped in something, and looked at her feet, and saw something sticky. "Oh no." She was then strung upside down in silk by her feet, and looked to see Airachnid. "Oh, what a beautiful family reunion." She then shocked Summer, and she woke up. "LOOK OUT!!" she said. She looked around, and saw she was suspended in the air. "Mom! It's gonna be okay!!" Summer turned, and saw an almost carbon copy of herself. It then hit her like a hammer. "Ruby?" "Yes, I'm here." Summer looked at Ruby, and said, "Oh, you've grown up so much. How, how long was I out?" "Um, well, you disappeared for almost 20 years, so-" "20 YEARS!?!" asked Summer. "Alright," said Airachnid, as she got out a blade. "We've had a nice family reunion, now, to take my prize." She then grabbed Ruby, and held her. "NO!! LET HER GO!!!" "How about, you go?" asked Airachnid, cutting off the silk holding Summer. She then fell to the ground, but, was caught. It was Arcee! She transformed, and cut Summer free. "What the-?" "Stay here. I'll get your daughter." Arcee then charged, and shot Airachnid. Ruby then fell, but was caught by a helicopter. It landed, and set Ruby right next to Summer. "Okay, now to help Arcee!" It then transformed.
