16 & Pregnant

I woke up to a constant beeping. Slowly opening my eyes I saw I was in a dimly lit room.

I shot up and the beeping sped up, looking around I realised I was in hospital with IV's taped to my arms and I was dressed in a gown. The curtains were shut but I could see it was still daytime. Everything slowly came back to me.

BTS..

Taehyung...

Jin... Red eyes.

School.... Nurse...

PREGNANCY

It suddenly felt like I was wacked in the head by a sledgehammer. Those words ringing in my ears... "I think your pregnant.."

I'm immediately brought back to reality when the door opened and a doctor walked in.

"Hello Y/N, how are you feeling?" He spoke in Korean but then repeated in English seeing how I couldn't make sense of the Korean in my current state.

I didn't realise I had tears streaming down my face until I choked on my own voice. I couldn't talk. My selective mutism making a return.

"I know this must be a lot to process and take in but I'm here to help you, don't worry. I'm Dr Lee."

It took a minute before his words hit me... Meaning I really am pregna- I can't even think it.

"To help make sense of what's going on, you blacked out while at school. Luckily your school nurse was with you to bring an ambulance in swiftly. What's the last thing you remember?"

The words ringing in my head still. Haunting me.

"She- She said I am..." I couldn't bring my self to say it.

"I understand Miss. I understand how stressed you must feel right now and how... Traumatised you must be.." He said glancing at my neck and arms with a knowing look.

My heart dropped. It didn't even occur to me about them checking me for... That.

"Nurse Mika was incredibly helpful. But we can go more in depth about what happened once you've rested. Just try to stay relaxed for your own sake ok. You're safe now." He said with a sad smile.

I was stunned. Shocked to my core about him, anyone at all knowing. I should be happy they know and can get me justice but it doesn't sit right. I feel scared. Not for myself but... For them.
