I didn't know what to say or what to do. We've always just been friends. But as I looked at her now appearing more beautiful than ever I just cant look at her the same way anymore.

I mean, I knew this was coming. I couldn't stop it though. I tried dating; I even tried one-night stands but no, I still ended up here. I still ended up falling inlove with her. Like seriously, how cliché is that? Being in love with your bestfriend?

"How do I look?"

I looked up to see Allison looking at me with bright, expectant eyes. She wore a pretty LBD that suited her body to perfection and wore matching silver shoes and jewelry. Simple yet utterly beautiful. I felt my chest squeeze tight as I looked at her.

"I don't like you going to this date," I told her.

"Why not?" She approached me and sat beside me on her bed, "I thought you liked Max? You vouched for him last week."

"Well not anymore," I said like a child as I crossed my arms, "You should stay in with me , Allison."

She laughed as she wrapped her arms around me. "And do what? Watch a marathon of Friends again?"

"Yes!" I exclaimed. "I'll even order pizza for us!"

She grinned, " I'm a vegetarian, you know. Plus I'm allergic to cheese."

I shuddered. I love cheese, after all. "Chinese then?" I suggested. "Like I'd to tally go for some fried rice right now! How about you? Yes! So Chinese it is then!" I clapped my hands together, "Good! Ill call the resto-"

"What aren't you telling me, Gab?"

I looked at Allison with nervous eyes. She always knew me so well.

How about I just tell her?

I can do this. Ill just tell her how I feel. I took a deep breath and stopped. I cant do this. And Ill never tell how I feel!

What if confessing could ruin our friendship?

I can't lose her.

"So... that's a no to Chinese, then?" I asked instead as I looked away.

She squeezed my shoulder comfortingly. "Gaby, you know you can tell me anything, right? I'm your bestfriend, " She urged.

I gave her a small smile, "I'm your only friend Allie."

She smiled back. "Seriously Gaby, tell me." She looked at me with her big blue eyes that could always suck me in with just how beautiful they were. How can I resist those? Obviously I cant.

I can do this. I just have to tell her how I feel; how much I love her. It's now or never. I took a deep breathe. "I-"

The sound of the doorbell cut me off and rang though the house. Allison's eyes tore from mine, "I think that's Max already," she said.

My eyes widened. Her date?! Already?! No! I felt myself panic. Allie spared me a glance before she rose to open the door, "tell me later, okay Gaby?"

NO!!!

Screw this! I am not losing her to that big-moustached man! It was now or never! I decided to throw caution to the wind so I did something pretty stupid and impulsive: I grabbed Allie, pulled her to me and kissed her right on the lips.
