Ten years early..........................................
(Roslyn is seven
years old now)★🌹Roslyn Turner🌹★
"Mom, I don't wanna go to school. It's boring and nothing fun ever happens" I told my mommy.
"Roslyn you have to go to learn and grow, so your going and that's final," said mommy.
"But, but," I said trying to come up with a reason to go.
"But nothing, get in the car and let's go. I got work and you gonna make me late." She said sternly.
"Okay momma," I said with my head down walking to get inside the big car or fancy bike with extra wheels.
"Bye I love you Roslyn, have a good day!" Said mommy pulling off.
"I love you, too!" I shouted.
Now I was all by myself walking through the big grey doors of the school. I was only in second grade, so I could pretty much handle myself. Like a big girl should.
I walked through the doors and went to my teacher classroom right away. It was the far, so it didn't take to long. Since it was only the first floor of the school building.
I walked in and went straight to my assigned seat at table four all the way in the back of the class.
I took off my hello kitty backpack just to place it on the back of my chair and get out my pencil case.
The teacher was in the classroom waiting for students to arrive until the late bell ringed.
I sat in my chair wiggling my leg around while playing with my pencil case sliding it back and forth between my hands on the table.
*Ding*
"Alright everyone your heard the bell, time to get class started," said the teacher.
"Okay," said every kid in the classroom.
"Good morning everyone, how was your weekend?" The teacher asked.
"Great," most kids said.
"Terrible," one boy said.
"Why was you weekend terrible?" the teacher said.
"Because my momma said my dad us to go be with a hooker," the boy said crying.
