Harry wasn't sure what Uma her plan was but he had to wsit by the backdoor of Ursula's fish and chips shop.
"Here. Maybe you're dad will be happy now?" Uma said as she handed him a bag with food.
"Don't tell my mom..." she added quickly and Harry didn't care and hugged her.
"Thank you..." he said softly and Uma was caught off guard.
"Y- yea... sure..." she said and Harry let go of her.
"Sorry- I- I..."
Harry felt stupid and Uma looked at him.
"Friends?" she asked as she held out her hand.
"Friends." Harry said with a small smile as he took her hand.Harry brought the food home and his father was satisfied, surely he wasn't impressed but at least Harry didn't get slapped.
Uma waited for Harry by the docks and he looked at her when he returned.
"And?"
"Satisfied. Not impressed but I'm safe for today."
Uma smiled and Harry sat down next to her.
"I never had a friend before..." Harry mumbled.
"Me neither..." Uma admitted and their eyes met.
Harry smiled.
"I guess we're eachother's first friend." he said and Uma chuckled.
"That we are."Harriette helped Harry making a small gift for Uma. It was some sort of a friendship bracelet; three small threads were braided and Harriette tied it together.
The colours black, blue and turquoise.
Harry smiled and he hugged Harriette.
"Thank you!"
"Have fun with your girlfriend."
"Ye- Wait huh?"
Harriette chuckled.
"Uma is just a friend..." Harry said and Harriette smiled.
"Of course."
Harry hurried away.Uma smiled as she was done.
She made a red/black/grey friendship braided bracelet for Harry.
She thought he was a great guy as a friend and she wanted to show him that.
Uma was proud that she made it herself without any help from her mom.
"Bye mom!" she said as she hurried out the door. She saw Harry walking towards their spot by the docks and she smiled.
"Hey!" she said and he turned, a smile was on his face.
"Uma!" he said and they sat down by their spot.
"I got you something." Uma said and she showed him the bracelet.
Harry chuckled and showed her the bracelet he made with his sister.
"I made it with my sister..." he admitted and they exchanged the bracelets.
"I'll never take it off." Uma promised and Harry smiled.
"Then I won't either." he promised as well.
He struggled putting the bracelet on and Uma helped him.
"Here."
"Thanks..."
"I really like that colour." Uma said as she pointed at the turquoise thread of the bracelet.
"You do? I wasn't sure but it matched your clothes." Harry said and Uma smiled.
"Come with me. I have an idea!" she said and Harry flinched as she saw how she dragged him with her towards Tremaine's curl up and dye."No-!" Harry said and Uma looked at him.
"What?"
"Tremaine... She doesn't exactly like me..." he mumbled and Uma looked at him.
"What do you mean?"
"I kinda... made a mess when my dad took me here six months ago... he made her shave my head as punishment..."
"Okay... Will you wait here then?" she asked and Harry nodded.
Uma went inside and Harry was fiddling with the bracelet which Uma made for him.
It gave him a happy feeling."Hey!" Uma said and Harry looked up.
His jaw dropped and his cheeks burned.
Uma dyed (most of) her braids the turquoise colour of the bracelet.
"What do you think?" Uma asked with a smile and Harry gulped.
"Woah..." he mumbled.
Uma looked at him.
"Maybe you could dye a part of your hair the dark red of the bracelet I gave you?"
"My dad would kill me if I'd do that if I would do that without permission..."
"Then I'll come with you- I'll say that I dared you to and you wouldn't chicken out of a girl."
"I don't know... I..."
"Come on." Uma said as she grabbed his hand.
"No- Uma-!" Harry protested but Uma dragged him inside.
