You felt alone, cold, tired. Your parents were infected, your brother moved away. You had no one, you needed someone. As you packed your car with the necessities you heard a noise. You turned, seeing a cat. You knelt down, putting your hand out. It came over, letting you pet it some before it ran off. You grabbed a pocket knife, putting it into your pocket. You followed after the cat. Y/n: "Wait up- where are you leading me?" You followed it to a deserted house, it ran through a broken window. You went to the door, finding it slightly ajar. You went inside, seeing the cat run down a set of stairs. You followed it, the room it went into dark. The only light was from a few candles. Before you could look around the room you felt a large arm wrap around your neck. ??: "Why are you here?" You grabbed your knife, stabbing any skin you could. You heard a sharp cry as you dug your knife into the man's leg. ??: "You little-!" When you stabbed him he let go. Before he could get to you his neck was snapped. You were frozen in fear. The man looked up at you, wearing a mask with a smile. (A cloth facemask)
You took a step back, still not trusting the blonde. ?: "Calm down..geez. I was trying to keep you safe." You felt like you recognized that voice. The man's gaze softened, his emerald eyes sparkling slightly in the dim room. The cat ran to the man, happily meowing. Y/n: "Who are you..?" ?: "Hey Patches..oh? My name is Clay, but I like to be called Dream. And yourself?" Y/n: "Y/n..wait.." Dream looked at you with a confused look. Y/n: "My brother used to play with a guy named Dream before this whole thing started." Dream: "What's your brother's name?" He set the cat down gently, it wrapped around his legs. Y/n: "Nick, or Sapnap." You felt your heart drop as you said his name. You saw Dream stiffen. Dream: "Your Nick's sibling?" You nodded, a bit confused. Dream: "He's been looking for you! We both have. He's been worried sick about you!" His sudden burst of energy startled you. Y/n: "How can I trust you though?" Dream: "Let's just get out of here than i can prove it. Do you have a quick way to get back? My car broke." You clenched your jaw, still nervous. Y/n: "Yeah, follow me." Dream grabbed a shovel, a metal bat and two first aid kits before following you. You saw a gun in the corner, you grabbed it and led the way back to your car. You both put your things in the trunk, Patches jumped into the back seat and curled up. Y/n: "Just don't try anything..ok Dream?" Dream nodded. Dream: "Will do. I'll give you directions." As he gave directions you drove to the house. When you reached the destination you saw a large two story house. Dream got out of the car, grabbing his things. He opened the front door with a key, putting everything on a nearby table. You set the gun down in the umbrella holder by the door when you entered. You heard 2 pairs of footsteps approach. A face you recognized, the other you didn't. Sapnap's eyes widened when he saw you, tears pricking his eyes. Sapnap: "Y/N! I THOUGHT YOU DIED!" He hugged you tightly, you did the same. Dream: "George this is Y/n, Sapnap's sibling." George's british accent caught you off gaurd. George: "Cool. Sap's been worried so much about them." You felt your heart warm up for the first time in months. You felt like crying but you held back. You didn't want to seem like a wuss in front of your brother and his friends.
